The food is good and we've eaten there several times. The owner can be a little rude and loud if you do not eat the roll as he tells you he orders them from Maine. Which is a little out of line on his behalf. I went back again yesterday and he made the same comment. I will not be back.

The lobster roll was extremely disappointing!Very small lobster roll )$23.00 (meat NOT abundant like shown in picture). More like an appetizer size bun! They wouldn’t give me butter with the roll just mayo available. Get your next lobster roll from n New Symrna Beach instead!

I was walking around downtown mount Dora and saw this place and was like hmm I haven’t had a lobster roll in forever and I was craving one so sat down and ordered the lobster roll with potato salad and it was so good.

Lobster Bisque and chowder were hot and tasty. Came out quick. We waited on the lobster roll sandwiches (3) for 40 minutes. Roll was toasted but cold and the lobster was ice cold (missed that point on the menu that the lobster was cold). Not sure why it took 40 minutes. Recommend asking for it to be warmed. The lobster was cooked great though and was good with butter. The potato salad was just cooked potatoes with no flavor. I guess I was expecting seasoning or mayo in it. Lemonade was good. If it hadn't taken so long it would have been nice. I don't think we will go again due to the overall experience and ok food for the price.

Food is rationed and at market price. Burger (poor quality) and hot dog (tasted like Ball Park Franks) quality is cheap. Lemonade tastes artificial like Minute Maid lemonade. Instead of fries they give you a bag of chips. Lastly, they were all out of the soups and dessert pies. Lastly, you're served on a paper plate.

Great food! As a retired fish monger that use to make all of this I have to say this is the real thing. No fillers in the lobster. The chowder was very flavorful. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this place, come here with my daughters every time we visit Mt Dora, the lobster rolls are great and I'm actually a big fan of the coleslaw. If your in the area definitely worth a visit!
