Great place. Best fish and chips around :^)

The first thing this restaurant needs is a good cleaning. Flies are everywhere and makes it difficult to eat. We ate inside and our table was dirty, so much so that my arms stuck to the table. We had to request a towel to clean our own table. The food is bland, the owner continuously tells anyone who complains about the food that they can use the seasoning/condiment caddy to season their own food....really? Yes, really.When reviews go up on Google, the response is never a humble apology, just excuses, like, "Our chip cutting machinery comes from the UK" and "you can request thick cut fries" or maybe, "the fish butty comes on a low sugar ciabatta, but you can request bread". Then insinuate that you are a liar if you have lived in the UK, but don't agree with the practices of this restaurant. Owner is in complete denial, don't make excuses, be better. The reviews are meant to help, not just the consumer, but also the business. Take it as a constructive criticism and make necessary changes. British food is not bland on purpose.

Kate is an absolute angel! It was amazing to see how she made everything happen regardless of what was going on around her. I am so thankful to be a regular at this wonderful establishment. Amazing people! They stayed open every moment they could to make sure they were taking care of the community. Hot food, cold drinks! Cheers to magical meat for creating a magical environment.

Awesome as always. Minus one star because some trivia nonsense was going on. Some like that, some don't. Food, beer and service were excellent.

This place sucks. I drove 40 minutes round trip to pick up Uber eats and they took the full 20 + minute drive there to cancel the order as I walked in. They told me "Uber launched them early and nothing on there is accurate and we aren't taking Uber orders now." Waste my time and money and then tried to blame their own incompetence on Uber, 0 stars.

This is the best English pub I have ever been to. The food was very delicious. The service was great and the aesthetics was awesome. I love this place.

This place was recommended by the staff of the Dora Lake boat tour. Interestingly nearly everyone from the boat ended up there. The food wasn’t terrible but given so many good options locally it paled in comparison.

I normally hate shepherds pie but theirs is the only one I’ll ever eat again. LOVE IT. I had the bangers n mash in the hole n it was very good. 10/10. Definitely recommend this pkave. Even brought my dog( outside seating area ) the stuff is friendly n funny. Will be coming again. N their beer selection is awesome!!!! But one bad thing I can say is I hated the Onion rings.
I think it’s the batter they use. But none the less everything else was superb!

This was ok, but kitchen rushed a bit

Pot pie was ice cold in the middle so had to send back. Fish and chips was okay, but both could of used another minute or two in fryer.

Waitress was not good. Not pleasant. Forgot to put in one order. Seemed like she didn't want to work. Food was okay and definitely hot. Came out in waves though. First two orders, then six minutes later some more, then over ten minutes for the last one. Overall I would say "Meh". I might go back, maybe.

The food was fabulous once we got served! We went on a Friday night, so it was busy and loud. We must have been sitting at our table for at least 10 minutes before a young lady came over to ask if we needed anything. From then on, she looked after us well. One of the boys that must have walked past our table at least a half dozen times, before the girl approached us, eventually asked whether we needed anything once we had been sat for a full half an hour and had ordered from the girl. The haddock was beautifully cooked, just what I would expect in the UK. The chips, unfortunately, were a trifle overcooked and brown, but still a good taste of home.

Parking: One might have to park a fair walk away from the restaurant, and I think parking time is restricted during the day.
