I don’t know why they have two different names on google but there’s no way we’re coming back. Our fault for not realizing $15 for 2 small cups. Staff is friendly but that’s the only positive. Sorry but no wonder they’re always empty.

Wonderful coffee, gelato and ice cream. Great help and the owner is fun to talk to. Highly recommend.

We went in to browse the candy and noted there wasn't much selection for a candy shop. Our son was excited so we decided we'd get a few chocolates. 7 pieces of chocolate cost over $20. The quality was ok, not bad. But for this price its very disappointing.

I recently visited this establishment on vacation after coming from Washington, D.C. They have multiple selections of ice cream, gelato, and coffee. The staff is also polite and professional. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mount Dora.

A nice ice cream shop with candy to choose from. They have sherbet and soft serve as well as hard ice cream

The truffles are the absolute best thing to get!! I was so glad they had a dairy free ice cream option and the assortment of candies is surprising!

Had the pistachio ice cream. It was really good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mount Dora Confectionery is a decent spot for a sweet treat in downtown. The shop itself is a good size with a nice selection of treats, and while the staff is somewhat friendly, the overall experience could be a bit more welcoming. The ice cream is tasty, but the prices are definitely on the premium side. If you’re in the area and craving something sweet, it’s worth checking out—just be prepared to pay a bit more for your treat.

Attendant was not interested in our presence. We were ignored while she cleaned. Give me a break…many our local businesses happy to have you!!

This place is hands down best ice cream shop I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend. There truffles are to die for.

The atmosphere of this place is incredibly charming, with a welcoming vibe and unique decorations that add to the experience. The ice cream was decent, though not as smooth as others, but still tasty and reasonably priced. However, the topping selection was limited—just sprinkles, I believe.

The standout for me was the macarons. I tried vanilla, caramel, and pistachio, and they were delicious—perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. While the ice cream could slightly improve, the macarons are worth returning for!

They have my dark chocolate covered orange candy!
Who doesn't love a candy store! This one gives me the old days vibes, not a chocolate boutique.

Shame on the management who scheduled ONE person to work on NYD. The young girl behind the counter had a line out the door non stop and could barely come up for air. She handled herself very professionally, was still kind and was keeping calm. This place is lucky to have her because 99% of people would have walked out or just locked the door. Also, not being able to add a tip on the machine is bogus… most people don’t carry cash and employees are loosing out on well deserved tip. Please reevaluate everything about your business model and get this girl a holiday pay bonus. Also stupid expensive.

We stopped by to have a hot chocolate, it was quite crowded for it being Sunday. You go to the checkout yourself and look for what you want to order.
