Since moving to Tavares from New York I have been searching for pizza that looked, tasted and felt like true New York pizza. While there are a few in the area that claim to be NY style, I must say the Mount Dora Pizza and sub on old 441 is definitely as close as it comes and is well worth the trip. Pizza was excellent and I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Good pizza and great service. I ordered a house salad and didn't care for the shredded lettuce. The pizza was good and beer prices good. I tried the calamari at $14 and was real disappointed. It was the frozen thick battered type that only taste like fried batter. I won't get that again. They are always busy with limited work space behind the counter but they get youe order out quick.

Nice family home style restaurant..we always have their Greek salad with garlic knots (which are to die for!)..Their white pizza is another favorite of ours. 😋

My husband and I had an absolute Stellar visit here. Excellent friendly service could not have been better. I had meat and mushroom pasta dish sauce was thick and tasty pasta was al dente. Perfectly delicious!
Husband had baked spaghetti and cleaned the plate.
Yuengling was served ice cold next to a frozen
mug. Perfect- going the extra mile
Definitely returning and going to recommend to friends and family. I don’t think you can go wrong here!

Home town pizza, subs and salads. Thev atmosphere always makes me feel as if i was home. Everyone is always welcoming and the service is great. I love this place and will always go back and recommend to everyone!

Ordered the Turkey sub for lunch and I have to say I haven't had a sub this delicious since I left Michigan in the 70's. The roll was nice and crispy, and the sub was like eating from a fresh market. It just had lettuce, tomato and onion and the dressing was, exceptional. I will be getting this sub all the time now. Also, their mushroom with meat sauce pasta is just a delicious and the pasta is very light. Can't go wrong with any of the food at this place
