Top shelf Mount Dora establishment. Nice outdoor patio/bar area, upscale indoor dining area, and a very swanky formal indoor bar. Food - yup; appetizers - yup; wait staff - friendly and efficient; hostess(es) - yup; atmosphere - yup. Go-to Mount Dora place.

A must visit if you want a scenic view overlooking the lake. Mount Dora was such a beautiful little town. I really enjoyed spending time there. The outdoor patio was very dog friendly and it was a relaxing, cool vibe. My only complaint was the salad I ordered was marinated steak tips and I don’t know what they did, but the meat was inedible because it was so sour. Perhaps the wrong marinade or marinated too long 🤪.

Nice ambience if you sit outside! They don't take reservation for outside and first come first serve. Which normally takes a long time to be seated. We were waited so long for dinner to come. My food was very cold as my friend, which we did not consider that as a big issue. However, my friend steak was overcooked which she asked for a medium. My food was very salty. They were very nice to take our food and bring a new dish with my food. Turned out to be perfect. However, my friend steak is still was overcooked after she mentioned that on the first place. Our waiter was extremely nice checking on us. They try to make us happy with honoring our drinks and bring us bread.   that was nice that manager came to talk to us and also our server tried to make us happy. After all, I don't think they Koch knows how to cook and steak.

Filet was cooked to perfection and salmon was excellent. Service was superb. Key lime pie and crème brûlée were both excellent. Highly recommend.

Very nice place to grab a bite to eat in Mr Dora, FL. Good food and a good size area outdoors to sit and enjoy the view of the lake and people watch.

We always delighted when visiting Pisces Rising. We started with specialty cocktails paired with our 2 favorite appetizers (Cubano Spring Rolls and Fried Calamari). We all ordered Salads with extra protein toppings. (Blackened Tuna strips are highly recommended.) The luncheon was topped off by sharing a house-made Creme Brûlée. (Rich enough to satisfy with only several spoonfuls each.) Pisces Rising remains our “go to” special occasion restaurant in downtown Mt Dora!

The quality has declined over the years. The mahi mahi was dry, the calamari brought 10 little pieces of calamari and the service was substandard. Server had 4 tables without any help.

Lovely brunch for Mother's Day. We brought our puppy so had to sit outside. I made reservations weeks before but you can not reserve space outside. Someone cancelled so we did not have to wait but could have waited 90 minutes with a reservation. Service, food, and view were excellent!

A great meal on last night of our two week vacation in Mount Dora. Coincided with our 25th wedding anniversary and we were made to feel extra special by the lovely staff and even the guitarist/singer! We were lucky enough to get seated outside to enjoy the sunset and balmy evening air. We shared the seared tuna starter, ideal for two when also ordering entres. My wife had the daily catch which was Golden Tilefish and was delish! I had the huge 16oz ribeye, unfortunately the first one was off-point on the medium rare temp, but there was no fuss or bother and the kitchen quickly put through a fresh one and nailed it! Super tasty, succulent and good charcoal grill hint to the steak too. Highly recommend Pisces Rising, we'll be back.

There's not enough words to describe how incredibly awesome this was. Took my boyfriend for his birthday. The service and the food was off the charts. Excellent the scallops were tender and beautiful. The calamari was not over coated not salty just beautiful. We will be back five star from this reviewer.

Everyone was so helpful- there was a little delay with our food, but our server and the manager handled it beautifully, and when we did get our food everything was delicious! Great experience!
