I was chilling with my freinds and I called them asking what they had for 15 he said he could give me the full portion of butter chicken for 15 its original price was 22 he was kind asked me how my day was and the chef was also very nice overall great experience would eat there again.

The owner of this place is very rude and nasty. If I could rate it negative zero I would. Butter chicken didn’t look or taste like butter chicken and he had the audacity to tell me everyone else eat it for me to eat it. I’ll eat Mc Donald before eating anything there. Never again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND that nasty place. Rice was very clumpy.

Disappointing. We went here to try out something new and came away feeling like we wasted time and money. We got the butter chicken to try and had plans of ordering more but were unimpressed so we just paid and left. The food was bland other than the garlic naan. We were not impressed. My fork had green inbetween the tines like it hadn’t been washed in awhile. Which was gross. Luckily I saw it before I used it. It was also overpriced. $5 for a can of soda? It’s been awhile since I just wanted to leave a restaurant. This one was not good. Won’t return.

I’ve ordered twice from here and was so excited bc there aren’t many options for Indian food in the area. First time I got chicken korma, and the second time I ordered paneer makhani and the same with lamb. All 3 curries were super bland in flavor and pretty spicy. I’m not sure if this is a recent thing as I’ve seen great reviews! The samosas are good though :)

We normally LOVE Shiva, we always recommend to family and friends. Great restaurant, great flavors. But tonight we ordered takeout and it was downright bland. Very little flavor in the lamb korma, the chicken korma was absent of flavor completely and was only spicy (we ordered it spicy). Our order was ready exactly when we were told it would be, so no issues with service at all. Very friendly staff. Small, but cozy atmosphere. So sad because we usually love this place, but so disappointed in this visit’s food. Also when I went to the restaurant to pick the order up, the place was empty, not a single table taken. This was on a Saturday night and downtown was bustling. I hope this isn’t a glimpse into the future of Shiva.

This is absolutely ridiculous I never leave reviews but I’m fed up with this place delivery, you’re spending 25+ on a meal and look at the portions these people giving. The rice isn’t even enough for a kids. Absolutely ridiculous. Like come on have some pride everyone complaining about the same nonsense, I understand you’re the only Indian spot in mt Dora so u feel like u can take advantage of the people here but damn man charge more if u so greedy and give people enough food to have a meal man! I don’t mind paying more but it seems you’re all about maximizing profit while screwing your customers. Makes no damn sense! This the last time yal get my money im over it. Btw the pic of the rice isn’t a fluke that thing is one adult portion lol

I placed an order for pickup through their website/Clover. The food was prepared on time and warm at pickup. However, the curry was very watery. The spice level was perfect but the food was bland, the sauce separates and the water just sits on top of the rice. The naan and rice were cooked to be expected; however, the curry was very disappointing.
