This location specifically has definitely gone downhill in the past few years after Abby took over, and recently I've been starting to come here less and go to Eustis Starbucks and foxtail more often for this reason. Normally, Starbucks has the best options for food and drink, but this location is so inconsistent when it comes to beverage quality because of their emphasis on window times. What a shame. I think that their customer service and staff are the biggest reason for this decline though. The evening team is wonderful for the most part, very friendly and professional and not in too big of a rush. The morning team however, needs an attitude adjustment. Abby, Mackenzie, and Bridget(although I don't think she works here anymore) are the most unprofessional, rude, cliquish, and seemingly miserable people I have had the displeasure of interacting with. I hear them gossiping about customers and their coworkers on the job any time I decide to stop here. I know that a few other coworkers of mine stopped coming to this location as well specifically because of the behavior of these employees. If their higher- ups had any mind they'd fire the management of this location and hire people who really care about the job. Go to Eustis Starbucks instead!

Went through the drive through and got a coffee, while I was at the window Hannah had the rudest tone, treated me like I was stupid and was snappy. I would say this is new but it's been a few times since I've come here I received this kind of service.

Morning crew at this location are the best and most efficient in the area. I come here at 5am every day and I don’t know all their names but Hannah and McKenzie are always very friendly and always greet me with a smile and by my name. They know my order and my husbands order and have it up on the screen as soon as I say hello and always make me feel like they are happy to see me and that’s not easy at 5am or a line of traffic wrapped around the drive thru. Keep up the great work morning crew. You always make us feel like a friend not a customer appreciate you all!

I have been coming to Starbucks and Mount Dora for over a year plus right now every time I come to the drive-through or especially in the front door, I am greeted with , “ Hello Rick” it makes me feel special and valued, but above all, just plain welcomed. It’s how I like to start my day off specially, if I’ve had a long week at work, I come here because everybody knows my name and they make me feel welcomed.. All the employees, like Kennedy Shelby, Tina John Andrew Makenzie and Gabriel are a lot of the regulars that I’ve become most friendly there, ……but there’s ONE person that sticks out more than anyone else at this Mount Dora location Maybe it’s her SMILE ? Maybe it’s her Calming welcome every morning I get from her. Maybe it’s just that she’s a great human being trying to be the best that she can be while working at Starbucks. Her name is Hannah. She’s always helping everybody and asking what we/she can do to make your experience better whether it’s giving water refills out in the store or talking to me about my family and my dogs, She’s a rock ‘n’ roll star . They accused me of lying about having dogs and that I was secretly ordering the pup cup for myself. I was taking the pup cup to my dog at home, and showed them the dog car seats in the car. RUDE.
