What a disappointment. Last there a few years back and remember it being good, not anymore. Ordered two entries, a pretzel, iced tea and beer. Was seated across from the kitchen and could see and hear the constant use of the two microwaves in use. Everything tasted like days old reheats. The pretzel was microwave fresh, hard in spots and mush in others. Sauerkraut was complete mush and the pork was dry and rubbery. Saw the cheese strudel being pulled from a ziplock bag and you guessed it cooked by chef MIc Rowave.
Not sure if the is the typical experience now, but it was bad. Staff were friendly. But unless you want to hear constant beeps from dueling microwaves and to pay top dollar for leftovers, go elsewhere.

On 7/4/25 (Happy 4th!!), Lala was our server and she was awesome! Great Bier, amazing food, and perfect service!! We couldn’t ask for more. In our opinion, one of the best hidden gems in Mt Dora! ❤️ we had a HUGE Bitburger, a Raspberry ale, German pretzel, German chocolate cake, and potato pancakes.
** Burger King sign, best sign ever!!! Love it❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yummiest food and our waitress was the best!!! My favorite sign ever!! For the others that gave a bad review for the sign, have a sense of humor. Geez . Anyways! We loved this place, we’ll definitely be back here!

Looks like this restaurant is going to go out of business soon. Used to like this place a lot but it’s gone downhill over the years. So disappointing!
The food is always good. The service could be better.
Food is great. Better than hollerbach over at Sanford. Everything was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Some issues I had was the space was small, food to a long time to come out, and there's a share plate charge. What that means is that if you have people who are not really eating but just snacking off of your plate then they will charge you 10 per person for them to be there. I'm told it's on the menu but I think it would be great if the server mentioned it was well. Would've just bought food for them as good as the food was.
Food is fabulous and our service was very pleasant...our favorite German restaurant in the area!
The food was decent. The Sauerbraten was good, not exceptional. The Wiener Schnitzel was good. The service was great. The beer was great.
