The Spice & Tea Exchange of Mount Dora

A very good place to get tea or spices. There are about a million different types of tea, flavored sugars, honey, ground spices, and all the necessary utensils for using them. You can pick any tea they have, and they will brew some right there for you, too. The staff is friendly and helpful too.

I went there for my birthday with my mother and aunt, and it was a wonderful experience. José was helping us, answering all of our questions and was extremely pleasant even when we started cracking jokes and acting a bit silly. He was honestly hilarious! We ended up staying there for about an hour I think, didn't keep track of the time because it was so fun. The teas were very aromatic and the blends were creative and intricate. I also loved their blends of sweeteners. Honey granulated was my favorite, but there were sugars and sweeteners mixed with things like cinnamon, espresso and even ube! Lovely tea and kitchen trinkets, lovely teapots, and overall a lovely atmosphere. Their iced tea was perfect for the hot day. Thanks so much for being so great with us, José!

My mom and I visited on Sunday, June 9th for my birthday, and this was (BY FAR) the best Spice & Tea location I've ever been to! The atmosphere was cozy & inviting. The shop was organized so well! Everything was easy to find! But if I had any trouble finding anything, the staff were ready and willing to help. I can't understate just how friendly & knowledgeable the staff is. They answered all of our questions and recommended products based on the selections we'd already made. All around wonderful experience!

We really liked this place. The variety of teas is very impressive. We bought 5 different flavors but we could have easily bought 20 more. So many choices !I felt like a hungry mule caught between two bales of hay. I could have easily spent more time here sampling the smells within this shop. I will definitely order different varieties from their online store.

Had an amazing selection of teas, salts, and especially spices. Recipes for lots of good dishes that you can make with their spices. Definitely recommend a stop for anyone who loves a good tea and spice store.

As soon as you step inside this shop, the whole world transforms into a wonderland of pure delight! The air is alive with the intoxicating scents of freshly-ground & hand mixed spices and teas, and the ambiance is so inviting it's like a warm hug from old pals. The entire team is a treasure trove of knowledge, always eager to share their secrets with you. Even if you don't walk out with a bag full of treats, your spirit will be uplifted. And let's not forget about the space itself! It's always pristinely clean, thanks to the staff, Manager & assistant manager, Listen up, folks, this shop is a reason to visit Mt. Dora all on its own - it's a haven for your senses and soul!

One of my favorite shops in this wonderful quaint downtown Mt. Dora area. A must go if you are in the area. The tea bar is a must to fir a custom brew hot or iced.

Used to love this place until they started carrying TONS of scented candles. That's all you can smell, so it ruins the experience. Really sad.

I love all the loose leaf teas, the staff was incredible.
