We brought my grandparents here for a treat, as they love British things. The food was very generous, and everyone got their own pot of tea. Great experience, but be warned the location is tucked away and you may need to walk a fair amount from where you park.
First time, it was a good experience. There is a large variety of teas to pick from. Portions were spot on. Service was friendly and fast. They sell great gifts like tea boxes, teapots and more. There is limited seating, so call ahead for larger parties. We look forward to trying their breakfast.
Total utter disappointment ! Interior looks intriguing from outside, but when inside it shows what it is: a cheapest possible decoration, painted cracked floor, cheap tables and chairs. We ordered high tea for two. Water is served in plastic cups, wiped cream and jelly are served in plastic one use containers. Sweets were good but sandwiches were borderline tasteless. Cheap white bread and cream cheese. We would be satisfied with either quality decor or quality food and service or both. We got none. Save your time and money and look for something classier.
Our server was British and made the experience wonderful. The daily special sandwich was outstanding and my wife's salad was excellent. I love this place and you will too
This is our 2nd time traveling to the Windsor Rose and it was even more amazing the second go round. I had the Fisherman’s Pie and it was absolutely out of this world! 10/10 definitely recommend and the Scottish Caramel Toffee is now my favorite tea on earth. The sweet and genuine customer service from Lani and Tracy makes every visit worth it. Such a great place to stop by and share tea with such amazing people. Looking forward to more visits.
A lovely place with friendly staff. I love that they have a special high tea for children as well as several different option for the adult high teas. Make sure to let you know if you have any strawberry allergies because the Queen Victoria Sponge Cake is served with them. Also, the child's cheese sandwich, the cucumber sandwiches and some others have cream cheese so let them know if you are not fond of this British taste.
Kid-friendliness: The child's Mad Hatter High Tea offering hot chocolate or milk is quite nice!
Wheelchair accessibility: If you require a mobility device, be sure to call in advance and let them know. The Tea Room is fairly crowded furniture wise, but with notice they may be able to reserve a table in the front with easier access.
This was my second time here and my mother's first, but it will not be our last! We had the chai french vanilla tea and I had the carrot cake while my mother had the lemon mascarpone cake. It was all so delicious and made for a great start to a lovely afternoon. Thank you Marsha and Tracy! ?
I made a reservation for myself and a friend on Saturday. We arrived 1/2 hr early, saw tables available asked to be seated sooner. We saw two sets a walkins arrive and seated before us. When I asked about getting seated again the BRITISH waitress snarled at us and retorted that our reso was not until 2:00. By the time we wre seated, chicken dishes were no longer available. I was very excited to visit this quaint place, but will not return due to service.
The portions were more than generous. One of our group had the special Snapper Picatta and said it was delicious as did all the others. I had a “small plate” of antipasto and though delicious coulodn’;t finish it. My husband said the house soup was wonderful.
We made reservations for our party in advance. To be fair two members of our group showed up ten minutes late. It was obvious from the start they were short-staffed. We didn't get our tea until one hour after arriving. It took another 30 minutes after that to get our food. The food was delicious and well-presented but the experience was certainly diminished by the service.

We had a wonderful time at high tea. The food was amazing and plentiful. To the couple who sat next to us, God love you and thank you.
My visit here today for high tea was just… odd. I expected the classy looking place from what I guess are older pictures with the cute rattan seats and glass-top tables with tablecloths. Instead, it looks like someone took what was there, swapped in odd, semi-unmatched furniture, and taped some cutouts of the Queen’s head on the walls and to the shelf that holds boxes of tea. The tea was fine. It was just a Twinnings Earl Gray I could make at home. The sandwiches were just blah - the bread even seemed a bit stale - and the scone and sponge cake were very dry. They served the jam and cream in those little plastic to-go cups with lids. I went in for a high-tea experience, but that isn’t what I got. It was just aggressively average.
LUNCHSurprisingly great lunch! Truly enjoyed the meat pie. Tea was good, fun, etc.Now the cake ? the goes on top of the pretty tray was super dry. You need a litter of tea ?.Still I would give it 5 stars. It’s unique, the town, and more.
It's a small place but very comfortable! The decorations are very nice and there are so many types of tea! The list is so huge that it'll make your head spin! Debra is the absolute best! She made sure that we had refills and she was very pleasant. If you like tea and nice environments, this is the place to go!
Great food and peach iced tea
