The food was delicious, the ambience was great and prices are reasonable. An absolutely, great evening! We had 4 of us out for the early bird. We had a variety of of appetizers and main courses. I had the tomato and mozzarella chees for my appetizer, 2 had the mussels, one had ham, cheese slices. For the main course I had the shrimp and scallops, which was very light. My husband had the steak, one had the veal. The food was delicious, the ambience was great and prices are reasonable.

We went on Sunday night to celebrate my wife's birthday, but the night was so disappointing that we didn't celebrate. The lasagna was terrible. Too cheesy. We took one of our neighbors who had never been to Alberto's before. We told her that the restaurant was the best in Naples, and so on. The mussels had no taste. It was like a new chef or a new place to us that night. There were only 3 tables of people, so it was a very slow night. We had to wait 45 minutes to an hour before we were served our main course. I asked the waiter, "What is going on tonight? Did they have the lasagna frozen, and it had to be thawed out? We were very disappointed in Alberto's. It is supposed to be an upper-class restaurant with good food and servicend we never complain about the high prices.

Real bad food for the prices. I ordered a $56.00 rib-eye, medium, and got a burned one. My wife ordered a $56.00 Red Sanpper fillet that went from the freezer to the skillet, and it was so small that it would be declared a crime against nature. We shared a $56.00 bottle of white wine that sells for $5.00 at Publix. Last time.

As was the case there exactly a week prior, everything was excellent. Early Bird menu, with different choice this time by both of us. Excellent, as the service by Slavke, our waiter, who waited on us the week prior.

The food was delicious. The service needed improvement. We had an 8:30 PM reservation. Between 8:30 to 9:30 they have a two course meal and glass of house wine for $39, so I asked the waiter if he could give us that menu. He returned with severe attitude. He never introduced himself (no name) and said “do you want one menu or one for me each?” Seeing as it was 6 of us, I said “ a few if you can”. He returned and promptly collected every regular menu we had. Everyone noticed the attitude. We later asked for some more bread and he said “let me check. I don't think we have any left.” Never followed up on the bread. He was extremely curt and un engaging. For a pretty expensive place, the service was mediocre at best and frankly we don't know what we did to deserve it. Insult to injury: they charge a 20% tip for parties 6+ which I understand but feel that the almost $50 tip was not earned. Other than the service, the ambiance was nice and food very good.

We have been dining at Alberto's for many years, and this is the first time we had poor service and sub par dinners! My husband's salad was delicious- dressed properly and tasted divine! Likewise, his pappardelle with veal was good , but the noodles were very thin. My friend's Brezina was very overcooked, same with lamb chops, and my chicken blackened was swimming in butter and the potatoes were so hard , almost impossible to eat! Our waiter Slav was almost nowhere to be found ( and the restaurant was nearly empty!) I will say our Crème Bruele with grand Manier was delicious!

There were three of us. We had the snapper, salmon & crab pesto with pasta - always my favorite. All were terrific.

The appetizer we had was fantastic but the lasagna I split with my husband was no big deal at all. Was quiet the evening we went

Our dinner at Albertos on 5th was exceptional from start to finish. The setting was perfect—the weather was beautiful, so we chose to sit outside and enjoy the charming ambiance. From the first bite, I was transported back to our recent trip to Italy. I started with the Prosciutto di Parma Dolce con Melone, a classic combination done flawlessly, followed by the Agnolotti di Ricotta e Spinaci con la Salsa di Mascarpone e Parmigiano—rich, delicate, and absolutely delicious.

While I don’t recall exactly what the kids ordered (I believe it was the steak), and my wife had the salmon, I do remember that everyone at the table was raving about their meals. The food was authentic, fresh, and beautifully presented.

What really made the evening stand out was our waitress, originally from Seattle. She was truly one of the best servers I’ve ever had—warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. Her passion for great service made our experience even more memorable.

Albertos on 5th is a must-visit if you’re in Naples and craving authentic Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be back!

Alberto’s was clearly a great dining experience! The restaurant was beautifully decorated which provided the feeling of a nice ristorante in Italy. The food delicious! Probably the best veal & porcini mushrooms I’ve ever had, and the service was over the top! Complemented by the off-season early bird menu made it a great experience! Well

This was my first time at Alberto’s. Recommended by our good friends who dine there often. I took our daughter visiting from Chicago to celebrate her birthday. Nice restaurant inside, crisp and comfortable. Our waitress Kayla was delightful. Happy, energetic, attentive. She was excited to list the evening specials especially the “Highlight”: A 14 ounce bone-in Veal Chop. We both started with salads, mine Baby Spinach Salad with Figs, Cheese, Almonds , Pancetta, hers Romaine Lettuce with Gorgonzola, Walnut, Apple, which were delicious. My daughter’s entree was Pappardelle with Beef Short Ribs which she loved. I was planning to order the Risotto and Osso Buco but instead ordered the special veal chop, medium rare. It came medium plus. It was gristly, fatty, lots of waste. I could not cut it with the serrated steak knife which tore the meat. It was not tender but tough and chewy. No taste except for the sauce. Best things on the plate were the spinach and potato sides. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. And very pricey. The veal chop deserves Zero Stars but I will be generous and give Alberto’s 4 stars. Also was charged 3% for using credit card—never experienced that before anywhere. If you go, remember it’s an ITALIAN RESTAURANT. Order safe. Just stick with PASTA. Avoid all else.

Food was good, service did not match prices at all! Took long for wait staff to come to table, restaurant was relatively empty. Not knowledgeable at all with answers to our questions. A staff member was walking around with a water pitcher, I had to ask to him to fill my near empty glass, my friend asked for a cup of ice he said he’ll get our server. I did not expect that response. Right after our salad was finished he wanted to bring out the dinner, rapid fire. Class prices not classy service for sure.

As usual our dinning experience was a 10. The meal quality and value is consistently very good.
