A gem of a restaurant! Beautifully positioned off main road, yet easily accessible. Patio dining was quiet with comfortable room, foliage and cover. Terrific seaford. Mature, attentive service allowing time between courses. No rush, no hassles.

Alexander’s never disappoints and is a must go to in Naples! We went recently to celebrate my husband and dad’s birthday, and it was an above and beyond experience. We sat outside in the garden and it was a beautiful night, with excellent ambiance. The service was top notch and Ashley did an amazing job. Everyone loved their dishes from seafood to steak, truly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! We also had three children with us ages 2, 7, and 10 and they loved their food as well. Whether you are going for a date night, a celebration or a family dinner, Alexander’s is the place to go!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Alexander’s Garden. Luckily, the weather was perfect and the outdoor setting really added to our experience. We were catching up with friends…so, the extremely leisurely pace of our service was not an issue. Had we been on a time crunch, it would’ve been a different story. Our table, outside, amongst the lighted trees and pretty glass enclosed heaters added to the delightful atmosphere. We enjoyed the yellowtail snapper, lamb tagine, Caesar and beet salads. There’s plenty to choose from on the menu, much of it leaning heavily on European cuisine, (escargot, pâte, duck, etc.) the fish preparations have been very good.Very pleasant, leisurely dining with solid French/Euopean inspired cuisine. The outdoor atmosphere adds to the overall experience.

Jim is THAT guy. He is spectacular and the best bartender in the whole wide world. Your experience at Alexander’s garden restaurant will already be a 10/10, but if you get lucky enough to converse with Jim, it is easily a 10000000/10 experience. As well as waiter John He is amazing as well as

My husband and I dined at Alexander's Garden Restaurant this week and had the Special of the week, which was the Porcelet from Canada. It was perfectly, mouthwatering. The flavor was definitely all it was promised to be. The service and Atmosphere is always top notch. Thank you!Parking: There is also parking in the rear of the building, which not too many are aware of.

Alexanders has the most beautiful outdoor space under the lighted trees in the courtyard. I loved my filet with fried onions on top. My cosmopolitan was perfection. The staff is excellent as well!!!!

Details on request. They have lost their direction. Host service , terrible with a couldn’t care less attitude. Wait staff totally inexperienced and unknowledgeable of the menu. Meal served poorly cooked not once but THREE times. I’ve cancelled three future reservations. Really too bad as this formally was a go to restaurant. Management has lost their way.

We made a reservation the prior week, when we arrived we were told our table would be ready in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later I went to the hostess and they seated us in the bar at a table that was right next to the service area for the wait staff. There shouldn't have been a table there!! We had a mediocre meal with a lot of disruptions!!

My wife and I stopped at Alexander's for lunch today. The patio seating was filled but we managed to get a window table without a reservation. We had a Caesar Salad, best I've ever had, grilled octopus salad with a wonderful dressing and mussels in white wine. We've been here before and love the ambience and the food and service. Highly recommended.

THE PICKY EATER FROM BOSTONReview: Alexander's Garden4077 Tamiami Trail North, NaplesFour of our favorite, longtime friends from Boston live here in Naples and we get together as often as we can. This was our post-holiday dinner and we wanted a special spot to relax and catch up on all of our Holiday shenanigans, and there were a few whoppers! We chose to meet at Alexander's Garden. Hidden behind a mundane façade, one rounds the corner and the Garden appears. The setting is a highlight in itself, creating a moody and romantic atmosphere. The lush landscaping and towering palm trees adorned with twinkling lights elevates the charm and provides a perfect backdrop for a special evening. So captivating, it reminded me of the Confectionary that Anna Magnani and Marlon Brando created in the Tennessee Williams film "The Fugitive Kind" albeit with a much happier ending...but I digress. Our Server, Putri was informative, attentive and totally delightful; as she was telling us about a menu special of Blue Fin Tuna, my Husband, who is a tuna fisherman, leapt at the chance to show her a photo of his own prize Blue Fin Tuna catch, 120" long, 921 pounds! She was amazed and asked if she could show the photo to Alexander the Owner/Chef. Within minutes Alexander appeared at our table anxious to hear the whole story of the behemoth Tuna. It was such a fun addition to our evening! Photo included for any fishermen interested. As we settled in, Putri was right there to offer us warm bread and to take our drink orders. The bread was delicious, and my Belvedere Martini up with olives with the hot rocks on the side did not disappoint, I'll give it a strong B+. As an appetizer, we ordered two servings of the fried Cape Cod Calamari for the table. I don't eat seafood, but was coaxed to try a sample...after the first tiny bite, a little tentacle appeared, so that quickly came to a screeching halt...but everyone else loved it!The dinner menu was robust and we were also presented with the Early Dining menu featuring two courses for $43. Early Dining is from 4:30 - 5:30pm and there are different, unique offerings each day of the week. The first course options for Early Dining included Shrimp and Scallop Ceviche or Crab cake with Lobster sauce. The main course choices were grilled sliced Beef Tenderloin with fried onions, fresh veggies and potatoes Dauphinoise, Seafood Risotto with shrimps and scallops, or Trout Almondine with spinach and mashed potatoes.Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals; the steaks were tender, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The vegetables were delicious and highlighted the farm to table commitment of Chef Alexander. I ordered a little side of Au Poivre sauce to finish off the Tenderloin and the potatoes Dauphinoise were a cheesy, creamy, dreamy delight. My husband was tempted to try the tuna but succumbed to the allure of the Seafood Risotto with shrimps and pan seared scallops. He said it was outstanding, the shrimp and scallops were delicately seasoned and perfectly cooked, resting atop a mound of creamy, risotto...deliziosa! None of us wanted to leave so we decided to order a couple of desserts to share; a luscious Key Lime Pie with Chantilly cream, shaved white chocolate and macadamia nuts and a Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee; pure satisfaction for a sweet ending. We added a couple of Cappuccinos just so we could linger longer. On my way to the ladies room which was lovely, I was impressed by the ambiance in the dining room, crisp white linens, sparkling crystal glassware and walls full of interesting original artwork beautifully displayed on rosy, amber walls. The dining room was cozy, sophisticated and distinctly European but choose the Garden if you can, and be prepared to be enchanted!Of all the things we enjoy here in Naples, having an outstanding dinner in a magical setting with wonderful friends is right at the top of my list.Alexander's Garden is truly a unique dining experience, we'll definitely be back!
