Would not recommend. Poorly run restaurant that cannot figure out how to seat a reservation even after we followed up on status and gave them 10 minutes to address the issue. We had a 730pm reservation for 2 - arrived at 7pm and checked in. We waited at the bar and enjoyed drinks right next to the hostess stand. At 730 we checked back in and they said table was just being set. At 740pm we checked again and they didn’t have an update even though they had seated multiple parties of 2. We told them we were not waiting any longer and left to get dinner elsewhere. On top of this terrible service they charged us a $50 no show fee. Called to address this charge but no one has followed up to remedy it.

Be sure to double check your bill. Our server doubled his tip when we split the bill and quite frankly, the service was bad to begin with. We had a reservation and it took about 30 mins before we got drinks and an hour before we got food. It was also freezing cold.

Kudos to Paola Bartis who made my elderly mother's Christmas extra special by giving her a nutcracker. Genuine care, concern and extraordinary customer service! Baleen is a great place for a cocktail and the sunset. I believe the food to be overpriced, overcooked, and overrated.
I ate here recently with my family and was not impressed with the food. For the amount of money they charged for two drinks, two appetizers, and one entree I expected a higher standard of quality and taste. The octopus was not grilled properly and was still rubbery and the ink fettuccine with scallops was overcooked and pasty, not al dente.
Otherwise, the views are pretty, the restaurant is clean as were the restrooms.

Our server, Marius was top-notch, very informative and professional He takes his role very seriously and made our experience there that much better. He was very aware of my gluten allergy, offering suggestions and answering my questions about the food. The food was all amazing. We sat outside and the view could not have been better as we saw the sunset! Thank you for a perfect evening!

We had a phenomenal Anniversary Dinner here earlier this summer. The setting and cuisine was spectacular. The service that Vasi provided us that evening was exceptional. He had wonderful command of the entire menu and wine list, which came in handy several times during the meal as he helped to guide us with choices and pairing. He took the time to even take some photographs of us on our special day, with meticulous care to capture several angles with the picturesque beach and sunset in the background.
It was a breathtaking night that came to a close with heat lighting in the distance, empty dessert plates and delicious coffee. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
