Bambusa is known as the only gay bar in Naples, FL. The only thing remotely gay about it was the open sign with a rainbow underneath. The decor was beach themed, which surprised me. I thought if it was the only gay bar in Naples it would be more obvious in the ambience. I loved it though. The service was friendly and really great. The drinks were fabulous, we had vodka crans and they were perfect. We came when it was karaoke night and it was so much fun. Really great people there and great atmosphere. I just wished the decor was more blatantly gay for being the only gay bar in Naples!

My friends and I went to Bambusa for Thursday Night "Bitchy Bingo" and we had a really great time! Few tips and tricks: 1. Definitely make a reservation, especially for large groups - you don't have to outlay any money until the actual night of 2. Bring cash for the bingo cards and 50/50 3. Arrive early and do your eating BEFORE they start calling bingo, because the food is AMAZING and you don't want to be distracted when they start calling numbers...they go FAST The drag queens were very entertaining and friendly...and they have some dancing skills! Service was a little slow during the show, so plan on that when you are ordering your drink rounds. Can't wait to go back!

Went there on a Monday night for karaoke with my best girlfriend visiting from Chicago. We have high karaoke standards, and this place ended up fitting the bill given lack of other options. Once you put your name in for a song, the emcee (can't remember his name but has been there for forever) keeps your name in a rotation. Great song selection. Music was too quiet, but I guess that's tolerable. When we first arrived around 7 pm (when karaoke starts), there were a few tables eating dinner. It was a slow start, but a few more groups trickled in and some of the diners stayed to sing, and the vibe was friendly and improved as the night went on. Singers chose karaoke appropriate songs (NOT like The Keys bar in Gulf Coast Town Center where college kids were singing karaoke to modern rap songs!) oldies, classic rock, etc. If you're in Naples and want to find a karaoke bar, recommend!

We had a super awesome time at bingo. Sadly, we didn't win, but so many people were into the game which made it more fun for everyone there. The games go really quickly, be sure to pay attention so you can be a winner. Our table enjoyed the hostess, the DJ, and the staff as everyone was fun and attentive. Be sure to make a reservation, the place was packed. It goes without being said, but these drinks are strong. Beware. The food was good - nothing exceptional, but all edible. When I go back, I'll be getting the fried mozzarella, it was different than normal which was a welcome treat.
