After having two good experiences at Bodega Ole over the past year I invited another couple to join me and my girlfriend for a New Year's Eve celebration. Upon entering the establishment we were seated halfway back away from the band. We could not even hear each other talk. I asked if we could be seated further back or the band could lower the volume. Since the restaurant was only half full we were moved to a table almost all the way back by the rear wall. It was better, but conversation didn't flow easily.
We ordered off of the prix fixe menu. Service was very slow, but we weren't in a big hurry. My girlfriend ordered the sea bass and it tasted and smelled very fishy. It was obviously not fresh. I found our server and explained the situation. I asked that her dinner be replaced and he simply smiled. A few minutes later dessert was served. I again asked about a replacement main course and he said the manager would be over.
After a long wait she came over and presented me with the bill that included a 20% tip. She said her family invited us into her house and we were honored guests; however, we had been rude the entire night starting with asking to be moved away from the music. I like going to family owned businesses since they are typically more interesting than the big chain type, but Bodega Ole is still a business. It was very rude to treat us like the troublesome in-laws she didn't want over to begin with.
I am hoping this was simply an off night for her, but we will not be returning again.
Bodega Olè has decreased the quality of the food recently, as a local costumer we visit quite often for their amazing food and atmosphere, in my opinion during the new administration the quality of the food isn’t what it used to be, water was straight from the faucet room temperature, the Chorizo in the appetizer was really hard, bread was cold in the middle, the Black Paella was extremely salty and lacking of sea ingredients, dessert great presentation but flavorless, service was amazing has usual , live music even tho didn’t play typical Spanish music it’s always good entertainment, this visit wasn’t as good as previous.
Band was good for the vibe, everything else was just ok. Mediocre.
The tapas we tried off the happy hour menu were really small and very basic. I am happy they were half price or they would have been overpriced. We had the albondigas, patatas bravas, drunken fig, chistorras al vino. We did have the bacon wrapped dates on the regular menu and they were delicious. We were only offered the happy hour menu. I found the bacon wrapped dates on the online menu.
Food was very good but the service was a bit slow. During our time there, we observed around 4-5 employees standing around talking to each other while only 1-2 other employees were tending to the tables. I was hoping that the other workers would've assisted to expedite the service. The place was pretty much empty the whole time we ate there.

Visiting Bodega Ole is a gastronomic experience that transports your senses to the best of Spanish cuisine. The food is authentic and delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and attention to detail. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant, perfect to enjoy with friends or on a special date. The staff is attentive and friendly, making each visit even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, a place that I would recommend to any lover of good food and a good atmosphere.

Been there a few times. Food quality not good. It used to be good. Very salty everything. Disappointed. The entertainment was good. The service was good but unless the food quality improves I'm not seeing ourselves going back. I'm hoping it changes because we used to like going there
First time there. The website says live music and flamenco dancers. There was neither. In fact we were the only diners. Ordered the Paella Tierra- chicken, Churassaco. Chorizo. It was filled with chorizo, some little pieces of chopped up chicken, and some little brown tough pieces that was supposed to be Churassaco. The flavor was ok, but the meat was scarce and tough. Left most of it and the doggy bag behind. Definitely not going back. Told our server Carlos, who was very sweet. He said he'd let the chef know. Came back with our leftovers and that was that. Offered us coffee on him. I guess he felt bad that the chef didn't acknowledge our comments.

The food is delicious. The best Spaniard food of the city. I tried the Chroizos al Vino and the Paella. I also got a cabernet suggested by the bartender, and I almost drink the whole bottle ?

The flamenco show was very interesting and entertaining. The dancers and musicians did a great job. We have see Flamenco show in Seville Spain and this was a good quality show. The food was good and it was included in the show/dinner cost. We had the salmon with vegetables, lobster bisque and croquettes. The sangria was also good. The staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. It was a great experience for us and the two other couples. Highly recommend this flamenco show.
It was six of us. We enjoyed the seafood paella and some appetizers. The quality of the paella was better than the one we had in Valencia, Spain last month. The two waiters did an excellent job bringing all we needed for a nice dinner. The group playing music was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Simply amazing food...worth getting of the main drag.
