Felt like getting a beef sandwich today. I got served by Diamond. Yes I had to ask him twice. His name is Diamond. I got stuck with Paul ha ha anyways nice kid very friendly and talkative. Laughed at my jokes. I got the Italian beef loaded with Italian sausage, hot and sweet peppers provolone cheese and I asked for a side of red sauce. I was on the hunt for a real-deal Chicago-style hotdog, and this place totally hit the mark! It was packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients that brought it all together. The folks behind the counter were super nice and made us feel right at home. We tried the beef sandwich too, which was tasty, but that hotdog really stole the show!
I stopped by on a road trip and am genuinely sad I'll never eat there again. The food was absolutely incredible, the man that took our order was kind, patient and extremely helpful. I also learned that a Polish sausage Ruben is how life needs to be lived! The reviews are spot on, you need to eat here (I wish I could too! 😂).
