We had a larger group for a New year's bash and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was very elegant ( I loved the design of their chairs and walls), we were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, while waiting for our table to be ready. The server, Senad, was amazing. He heard when I mentioned to my husband how i like the design on some chairs and instantly he brought it and replaced my chair with that one! speaking of a delivering unexpected? He deserves a raise!:) He always showed up even before we even needed to call for him. His suggestions for food and drinks were impeccable, and the quality of the food was a top notch. If you are looking for a place for an elegant and quiet dinner place, check this one. I am sure you will like it too.

What a disappointment. Have been going to Bice when we are down in Naples and have always been happy with the service and food. Well new look / new review and it is mostly fresh paint on a poor experience. Waited 45 min for our table only to be continually told the party was paying. The bar is poorly provisioned with limited choices and base alcohol in the cocktails is quite overpriced.
While we sat at the bar we could see our table (9 seats) being readied and they gave it away to a party of eight who came in after us (we watched them pull the one chair away and seat the party). No apologies / stuttering for an explanation so all in all a crap night. I mean after all that they did not even try to save face or even offer a drink while we waited for yet longer. Went down the street and found a new fav.

Generations of my family have been coming here for years. One by one we’ve all been so disappointed with their new “trendy” concept and menu. Food was mediocre, service terrible The one star is for the ambiance. The new renovations are lovely but it is now very hard surfaced and noisy to the point it is difficult to hear. But at the core all that should matter is the food and the new menu does not cut it. All the staple Italian foods that were previously on their menu, gone. Prices have gone sharply UP ! I don’t have problems paying but then you better deliver great service (that did not happen), high calibre fine cuisine (that did not happen) and do not give excuses when your new “system” is slower than the old one, or you fail to tell us that the gnocchi with broccolini is actually gnocchi with (mushy over cooked) broccoli !! Two drastically different flavour and texture profiles. If you’re going to substitute from your menu, you should at least advise your customer at the time of ordering. What’s worse is that when we brought it to the servers attention; first denial, then when pressed excuses. No management, nobody coming around like they used to asking how our meals were? You would think they would do that more with a new menu and concept. Family of 5 and we all came away with the same consensus; unimpressive bland food that we could have prepared better at home. I’m sure that Nonna Bice used to salt the water when cooking the pasta!!

We live on 5th Avenue and dine out often! We were excited when Bice reopened after their remodel and refresh of the restaurant. We sat at the bar along with two other couples on Friday night ordered martinis which were served to us half full, which is always a disappointment. Also, the lighting was so bright in the bar area, we decided not to stay for dinner. Two other couples said the same thing. I hope these things will be rectified and look forward to going back as it is a beautiful restaurant now.
