A super nice place to enjoy with family and friends
Good but pricey.
I wanted to leave a strong review and feature them on my instagram page but brambles missed the mark.
The Good:
1. Overall the atmosphere is a fun place to gather friends
2. Location is great although parking is a problem.
3. There scone was okay.
The not great:
1. When you’re paying for atmosphere, details matter.
They somehow thought that the restroom should be inside of the only dining room rather than put the register with the bathroom and have tables where the register is. Shoddy design choice and kind of a gross decision.
-this is pre bagged tea, not loose leaf and most likely celestial seasonings. To add insult to injury, they didn’t make the decision to time their tea so it gets bitter after the first cup.
-they didn’t bother to match sets/cups.
-some of the food wasn’t good. If I knew they didn’t have a kitchen staff, I wouldn’t have expected anything of the egg salad sandwich or chicken salad sandwich. Nobody ever checked to see whether we even liked it. The food was left behind-they did not even question it.
2. After our order was taken, we were not checked on once. There wasn’t any apology or effort after we had to track down somebody for water. Then they failed to bring a check after another 30 minute or so passed.
Traditional English breafast restaurant. Stunning inside and out. It is down a small laneway filled with flowers and greenery. Outside and inside dining. The food was good. Excellent tea selection, try the raspberry earl grey...mmm. Traditional raisen scone with all the fixings was amazing. Very busy place, we were able to get in without a reservation on a Thur. Service was a 6/10.
Lovely gift shop on the main st and within the entrance of the restaurant. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would go back.
We just love it! The experience is always delicious and delightful.
Nice selection of English and Irish wares...
You will be Amazed when you enter Brambles English Tea Room & Gift Shop! Kind & knowledgeable people work there. Absolutely loved being there & did not want to leave. Highly recommended.
We hosted a group event for 30 people in the Tea Room. The staff at Bramble’s went above and beyond to give each of our guests an amazing experience. They even made accommodations for our gluten-free guest. Overall a magical experience. We will definitely be back!

What a delightful find! The food was delious and the price was very reasonable. The atmosphere is lovely. The tea selections were varied and interesting. I feel in live with the Royal Wedding tea. I would highly recommend trying out this cozy tea room with your friends for a truly special experience.

I’m a Brit on vacation from Texas and decided to see just how authentic this place was.
The interior decor was spot on. Music was a bit strange for a tea room …. Pirates of the Caribbean!
These are my comments on everything I ordered.
Irish breakfast tea - lovely although could have been hotter. Tea is served piping hot traditionally.
Quiche Lorraine - Pastry was good. Unfortunately the quiche consisted of mainly diced ham with very little egg/cream/cheese. Not enjoyable.
Scone with jam and cream. Jam and cream were fine although it would have been nicer if jam had been homemade and not out of a jar. Both served in plastic containers not little ramekins. The scone was a big let down. It contained hardly any fruit, hard on the outside and it was very crumbly and dry. In all honesty it was really an English Rock Cake and not a Scone.
Nice try but this place is not authentic.
The plus side was that service was good and the restaurant was clean.

Charming little tea room. I stopped in while on vacation and it didn't disappoint. I shared an afternoon tea with my aunt's and it was a great experience. Our waitress was so helpful and the Brambles delight came out quickly. Each sandwich was delicious and I'm still thinking about the cucumber! The scones - one raisin, the other vanilla were not impressive, Soo incredibly dry, crumbled all over. It's a shame since scones are easy to make and don't have to be this way. We shared two separate pots of tea - Royal Wedding and English Breakfast - and the royal wedding was Soo tasty! We were given milk with the tea and my aunt tried it. I've never had milk with my tea and after my visit, I always will! Brought out the flavor of the tea! I would definitely return for afternoon tea again and I'm already thinking about coming back to try the Shepard's Pie!
The food and the service are consistently excellent. Love to go for lunch and bring home something different for dinner. Never ate a cucumber sandwich before, but the sandwiches are to die for especially the cucumber.

I came here the other day with a friend. I had heard good things about this place so I was anxious to try it. I had some finger sandwiches and I didn't think they were very good. The blueberry scone was excellent. Although I did hear another person order the quiche and they said that was excellent. I probably should have gotten that.If you like tea, and I don't just mean an occasional cup. If you're really into tea, this is the place for you to go. Otherwise, I would say there's too many other restaurants in town that you would enjoy more. Even if you don't eat here, the gift shop had a lot of very interesting gifts that you might not find anywhere else . I won't be returning here to eat, but I may stop back in again for the gift shop.
