“We had a ladies lunch yesterday and we had fish and chips, the Reuben and beef barley soup and it was wonderful. Had to wait for a refill of pop but otherwise, everything was timely and piping hot. Something I never experienced happened. We paid with cash and the younger female server did not return with cash change for three of us. We asked her for our change and she looked like she couldn’t believe we asked this. Ten minutes later she came back with the check and the change for three of us. I told her that we were going to tip her but that it would need to be our decision and not her assumption. She looked at us dumbfounded and said nothing. No apologies and no understanding on her part. We then left all the change she had returned. Not trying to be petty but that is not good service!“
