New place - scheduled on easter because they could get our party of 7 in. The food was good, the service was horrible and it wasn't because the place was packed. Our food came out in 3 separate wave each about 5 minutes apart so the first two that were served had to wait 10 minutes before the last 2 were served. Soup was brought without a spoon. For the price the service should have been Season's 52 level or JAlexander, this was not.
Great food with outstanding service. Bar was excellent. Comfortable atmosphere, seating was spacious. Felt at home.
Decidedly disappointing..... food mediocre to poor. ( good burger, but pork chops were dry/thin with “ plastic” mashed potatoes), service average but pleasant, ambiance very good, bathrooms dirty ( do they eve4 check them throughout the evening ?), with no paper towels left ! All in all, probably worth people watching at the bar, but we wont be back.
Good food and nice atmosphere. Good food large groups and a nice outside and inside bar as well!!
Our server was wonderful and very accommodating. There was live music playing in the courtyard and the restaurant had music on the speakers. We asked if they could turn off the speakers so we could enjoy the live music and they did. We had the Asian fish, it was delicious!
5 Stars – A hidden gem in Mercato! We had such a cool experience at Taberna Burnt Wood Tavern in downtown Naples. It's right in Mercato, and the vibe is exactly what you'd hope for—trendy yet warm, with a rustic charm that makes you want to linger. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and while we sat inside this time, I wish we had grabbed one of the cozy outdoor tables! The atmosphere inside was fantastic—dim lighting, warm wood accents, and music playing at the perfect volume. (I love when restaurants get that right—enough to set the mood, but not so loud you have to shout over your wine.) We were seated quickly in a comfy booth and had a super sweet waitress who made us feel well taken care of. Speaking of wine—the wine list was impressive, and the glass I ordered was excellent. Now let's talk food. We started with the short rib poutine, and wow. Crispy fries, melty cheese curds, rich gravy, and that tender short rib... it was indulgent and absolutely worth it. (Check out the photo—it tasted even better than it looks!) For my entrée, I had the half chicken with purple mashed cauliflower potatoes and roasted veggies. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the presentation was just beautiful—vibrant colors and an elegant plate that made the meal feel extra special. All in all, this is one of my favorite meals I've had in Mercato. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
Not much to ssy, it was not hood. Chicken was gross. French dip was very fatty, aujuis was bbq sauce, will not be back. Have tried this place 5 times. Nit good any time.
sat down at the bar. waited a good 10 minutes, no bartender. asked for a table. sat at the table. waited a good 15-20 minutes before a server finally came over and asked if anyone had checked on us. Waitress said she’d be right back, only to find out she was not out sever and finally inform the other gentleman that we were assigned as his table.
No apology for the wait/ confusion. and he does not even seem interested in waiting on us. Now is probably a good time for me to just get up and go.

Great spot to check out in Mercado for dinner. Waitstaff were very accommodating, knowledgeable with recommendations & atmosphere was nice. They have indoor/outdoor seating with open air walls separating along with a centered bar that expands from inside to outside in middle of dining area. We ordered the zucchini app, grilled chicken sandwich, bread service & salmon salad. All cooked nicely & fresh. Was not a fan of lemon vinaigrette on salmon salad or the bread service we paid for though. Overall nice experience.

The sangria was undrinkable. It was far too sweet and clearly not real sangria. The bartender made unnecessarily cruel comments. Terrible experience. I do not recommend this place when there are so many great options in walking distance.

Extremely overpriced. Got 1 slice of French toast, probably about 3x3 inches for $20. It was incredible French toast, but no one would feel full after eating such a small piece, and it’s marketed as an entree. Service was great, atmosphere is a little colder but modern than the old burnt wood tavern, but still nice. Very very disappointed in the food portion I received however. I would not return solely due to that. It was a portion befitting of a small child.

Too expensive. 2 appetizers 3 beers and a mixed drink over $ 100. With tip. We won’t go back

Awful experience! The food was disappointing, and the service was even worse. The Tavern Burger was sickeningly sweet, covered in what tasted like Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce, cheap and artificial. On top of that, the bartenders ignored me for over 15 minutes, and the waitresses didn’t even bring any water. Don’t waste your time or money here!
