Cafe Normandie Restaurant Naples

This is the best French restaurant in Naples! Anthony and Sandy and the team make you also feel like family.

Cafe Normandy has an early bird special so we thought we'd try it. My husband's food was good. I ordered the short rib with a red wine sauce. The short rib was not as I expected. It was dry and had no taste. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. In any event we did not complain, paid our bill and left a cast tip.

The place was a bit busier than usual, it was warm inside and the kitchen was producing lots of smoke that went into the dining area , which made it very unpleasant to sit there and irritated our eyes , they tried to do little about it , making an excuse that it's an old building . The appetizers were very good , but the main courses were not! Bronzino was lacking in flavor and seasoning , portion was very small . Frogs legs were not crispy enough and had a slight fishy taste , which was unpleasant. We have been there before and really enjoyed it , but this time it just was off. Service was also much slower than expected and food was brought out a bit staggered . Don't know if we will go back.

Another excellent dinner at Cafe normandie The dishes are very tasty prepared by chef Anthony. Service and ambience are excellent. Not noisy. You can have a nice conversation unlike others. Specials are great.

Classic French dining experience. Husband-wife team taking care of the front and back of the house. Wide-ranging, authentic menu paired with excellent wine selections. Humble and unpretentious. Good people serving very good food in a charming environment.

Authentically French, intimate bistro atmosphere with table linens. Their fois gras terrine was wonderful.

Outstanding food! Our server was prompt and attentive. Sizzle menu was delicious. Can't wait to go back. Owners stopped to check that everything was to our liking. Definitely 5 stars!

Café Normandie is a true gem in Naples! The food is fresh, authentic and full of flavor. What also makes this place extra special are the owners, Anthony and Sandie : they are welcoming and make you feel like part of the family every time you visit. Their passion for great food and genuine hospitality really shines through. My husband and I are from Belgium and we can tell you this is an authentic French spot, Café Normandie should be at the top of your list, always a wonderful experience!

I don't know how we hadn't discovered Cafe Normandie sooner! We entered the restaurant and took a step back to France! It's an intimate authentic French restaurant with a great menu of delicious offerings. My husband ordered from the main menu and I took advantage of the Sizzle menu. We ate exquisite foods from appetizers to a scrumptious chocolate mousse dessert. We shall return.

Authentic French restaurant with traditional dishes, french ambiance and attentive service. The duck leg confit was tender and accompanied by a brandy orange sauce. Crepes Suzette for dessert were a light and deliciious ending to our meal.

I ordered the duck confit, it was excellent. Crème Brûlée for dessert and escargot as an appetizer. All on their sizzle menu. And all delicious!
