I was here on Labor Day September 2nd at around 5:30-6 and the girl that was at the cash register was probably having a bad day but she was extremely unprofessional she was on her phone the whole time, and when we went to pay for our stuff she was so rude. And she didn’t look happy to be there at all. I left quickly just seeing her face really ruin my day.

The woman quickly gave her self a tip before I could even get a chance to push it myself. I was going to regardless but I don't appreciate anyone deciding for me, especially my own money. And she also chose not to print receipt for me. She thought I wouldn't realize but whatever. It's about the principle.

After reading about the family owned store and the great reviews, I decided to treat the kids to a candy store adventure. We were extremely disappointed when we got there and they were CLOSED already. The website, google and the mall hours all said that the store was open until 7p. We arrived at 640p and the gates were down and not a sole in sight. To say the kids were disappointed was an understatement. Moral of ALL OF THIS, get there well before closing.

Candy Grandy of Coastland Center is a (rather expensive) candy store. The employees are commonly not trained for the job, and the one that was there on my visit didn’t even put her phone away when I was trying to start a conversation. Prices are a common thing that is complained about, and I could visibly see why. Overall, I do not recommend this store for any candy enthusiasts.

I have worked in the mall for YEARS and have gone into this store so many times with no issues. This time when I walked in I saw two girls I haven't seen working before. I walked straight towards the milkshake counter and waited for five minutes before walking to the counter. I then asked the girls at the counter if there was anyway they could make me a chocolate milk and they laughed in my face and said no then proceeded to talk about me as I walked away. This is ridiculous and I will not be coming back!!

Every time I’ve gone in, there’s been different young workers who are kind and helpful. Last trip, an older lady was working there. From the moment my kids and I walked in, she was eyeing us. My 7 year old daughter sampled a jelly bean w/o my knowing and she stormed over to her and held her hand out in-front of her. In the rudest way, she told my daughter to give her the jelly bean.Yes, my daughter should have asked but she’s also 7. It was completely unnecessary and inappropriate for an adult employee to treat a child customer the way that lady did. She should have addressed that to me, the parent. Totally unprofessional. I read another review of someone else with a similar experience. No idea why they have someone like that representing their store.

How do you hire staff that does not have proper training to work at your place of business. I walked in today to get a smoothie and the attendants that was there says she doesn't know how to make a smoothie because she was not trained. She says she has worked there for one year. WHAT? The other day there was a Hispanic attendant and she didnt understand English to make a smoothie either. What is going on here?

Lots of neat treats in candy grandy? There are plenty of sweets for everyone to enjoy, from chocolates to jelly beans to fun candies, everything is delicious! Plus there is an entire bar where they can make shakes, crepes and Belgian waffles! I definitely recommend candy grandy when you visit the mall??

Bought a mystery bag of candy for my kids. Thought it would be a fun surprise. Turns out, it was a bag of leftover inventory. The big item was a package of colored tortillas… literally just flour, food coloring and oil. Disappointing for sure.
