It is currently closed. Wished the owner had updated this! Plus, there’s a name change. It’s now a Cuban restaurant. We drove around looking for this place. Only because I saw the logo did we realize it was the same place with a different name….but now closed. Restaurant next door got our $$$.

Food's amazing but it's very hard to come by when they're rarely ever open

Very disappointed. I went Monday, July 10, and many menu items and drinks were not available. As we had driven 30+ minutes to here based on prior reviews, we decided to bear, grin, and eat. As for the reason many menu items were not available, it was because, on Mondays, many menu items are purchased and prepared (beforehand). The server was polite. My family and I will not return.

I am not kidding, some of the best food I have ever had. Tiny, unassuming place with flavors fast beyond their appearance. Spectacular. Recommend ordering ahead, or doing pick up in case they are short-staffed. They have a nice variety of Caribbean and Latin food, both spicy and not. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Go tonight! Go for lunch. Just go.

Definitely enjoyed my food . My sister and I ordered oxtails with rice and beans which is a must . The owner Anthony was very pleasant and warm welcoming .

This was a take out order! I order J*** Chicken and I was very disappointed in the presentation & taste of the food (the chicken was shredded like it was last in bottom of the pot/pan) and the chicken was way too spicy it over powered the entire meal and made it not so enjoyable (and I love spicy food). I could not finish the meal.Rice & Peas was ok.Jerk Chicken was very disappointing .Plantain was great.

First time eating into his little place full of other restaurants around. But I guess their services and attention make them to deserve this 5 star ?

Full of flavors! This place is delicious! My husband had ox tail, it was tender and so yummy! I had the chicken soup, all I can say was fantastic. Great service! I’m surprised this place was not packed. Highly recommend this place.

Great little place. Service was awesome, the food delicious and the restroom was very, very clean. The youngman that waited on me and my wife was very attractive to our need continually checking to see if we had everything to make our dinning experience was a good one. I would highly recommend this restaurant ? ????

Not authentic ?? but still pretty good.I want to start off by saying the service here is amazing and is a 5/5 by itself! But I want to give an honest review of the food as someone who’s mother / family is Jamaican. I am not Puerto Rican and have no experience with PR food so I’m only reviewing based off JM.Scroll to the end for the ratings of each category.I was in Naples visiting my friend and wanted to show him Jamaican food for the first time because he had never had it and we last minute stumbled across this place. I read the reviews and looked at the photos and figured it would be worth a try even though it is clearly a fusion / PR restaurant. I love fusions but I came expecting to also get an authentic Jamaican flavor based on some of the reviews that I had read.I’m vegan so I couldn’t order the j*** chicken or curry, but I did order from the vegan menu (thank you for having vegan options!!) and went with eggplant with a side of rice and peas and plantains. While the food was good and tasted fresh, it definitely did not taste authentic. Because I ordered something obviously not authentic due to there not really being a vegan Jamaican option specifically, I’m basing this portion of the review on the rice and peas. They had no coconut milk at all which is the foundation for rice and peas and I didn’t taste any thyme or scotch bonnet either. I don’t believe Red kidney beans were used either. It’s not rice and peas without peas :/. The j*** chicken that my friend ordered visibly looked and smelled authentic, but of course I could not actually try it. The patties are not authentic either, obvious just from looking at the color of the dough (not yellow. Which surprised me because in the reviews there is a photo of a patty that looks perfect!).The plantains were 5/5 absolutely delicious and some of best I’ve had in my life. The drink selection is great but I do wish they had Kola- they did have ting though.Overall, this was a good introduction to Caribbean food for my friend who was completely foreign to it, so going with the fusion was probably on the safer side for him, but I do wish that it would’ve hit the mark for me. I cook rice and peas at home all the time but sometimes it’s nice to go out. With that being said, the service and atmosphere was phenomenal and I wouldn’t mind eating here again. I made the review stars factoring in the authenticity part because I feel that the reviews lack this.?? AUTHENTICITY: 1/5SERVICE: 5/5ATMOSPHERE: 5/5- very calm and cozyTASTE: 3/5The service and atmosphere is what really uplifts this restaurant and why I gave it at least 3 stars. I also always love when vegan options are on the menu.

My friend and I were at the Naples Botanical Gardens and decided to go to the Caribbean Island restaurant for lunch. The staff were warm, and friendly, and answered all of our questions. The place is very clean and nicely decorated with that "Caribbean" feel. My friend had rice and beans with fried yuca. I had mofongo with a salad. The food was fresh and delicious! It was reasonably priced. I will be going back soon.

Parking: Parking is easy and convenient in the plaza.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing! The food is extremely tasteful and Anthony provided such amazing customer service. If you are looking for a home cooked meal.. almost similar to mamas cooking? This is the place!

Since I’ve moved here, this is by far THE BEST restaurant that I’ve eaten at in Naples. The food is so hot and fresh. If you like hot sauce, ask for their Haitian hot sauce.. omg so good! DEFINITELY coming back.

I’m sad because reviews are amazing so I placed an order. I’m new to florida and searching for the good food. I must have ordered on a day someone was mad. When I got my delivery from Uber eats the food looked like leftovers. Almost didn’t eat it because it was presented that way and off putting . My original thought was whose home kitchen cooking is this? My plaintain was salty and the rest was bland. I’ll try again maybe it was just an off day for the cook.

My neighbor told me about this place and let me tell you it’s amazing! I love the Chix stew with the tostones and the place is so welcoming and clean. The girl that took our order is a sweetheart and very informative. Me encanta!
