Literally THE BEST Mexican food I've found in Naples after moving here from San Diego! The chicken gordita and guacamole made fresh to order cant be beat! So happy there is at least one Mexican food place on par with San Diego! Now if I could only transport San Diegos waves here I would be in heaven!

I thought I had reviewed this restaurant before. Apparently not. I love these hole in the wall Mexican places. The Tacos were amazing! Wish I had a picture. Ordered the pork and the chicken. The Tacos were very large and came with grilled onions! They have a salsa bar with a variety of salsa's. Would have been thoughtful if they were marked with a heat scale. The two I tried were terrific but I would have liked a little more heat. Spanish is very helpful as the lovely counter woman did not speak English. Highly recommend and will be back!

This was our first time here. I know the place has been there a while, but we had never stopped. We ordered 2 dishes, the nachos with chicken and a seafood platter. The service was great, and the food came rather quickly. We were definitely enjoying the food, and the portions were rather large, we each had about half left when we asked for to-go containers. As we put what was left on our plates in the containers, we found a cooked roach in the seafood platter....ugh..not going back

Naples has so many Mexican options, and each has some super highlights. This place is awesome all around and i highly suggest the gorditas/sopas! We tried the carnitas, al pastor, barbacoa, and chorizo. The best carnitas ive had in this town hands down, and the others were stellar also. Extra points for an amazing salsa bar and fresh chips. The decor is also super nice as were the staff. I saw a few reviews that said it was expensive, but they surely give you your money worth!
I want to leave a review that for me and many is very important, because it is not easy to go to a new place and leave your money there to buy something to eat and have bad surprises. I paid almost $30 for 2 cakes and asked for the meat to be well browned and they didn't do it because they didn't care about giving us that pleasure. Apart from very little meat, pale in color, only parboiled and more difficult than it seems to have been from a cheap cut of beef. I asked if the cake had that bread like in the photos and they said yes and that was a lie. The bread was hard as if it had been baked for days. This was a great cake bread and almost no protein inside! So what are you charging me? For your service nothing more? Coming here on a trip and visiting this place and then arriving at my hotel and seeing that it didn't have everything I expected. We couldn't eat the cake, we left it there! The carnitas were not even chopped, they gave us 2 pieces of lemon, and the tortillas were not warm as they say. In a hotel there is no comal! Neither salt, nor lemon, nor a knife to cut that cake that they don't cut in half either. I mean, they gave me rotten avocado for the love of God, tell me where is the respect for your clientele, how can you serve them whatever? Honestly, what bothers me is the deception and the lack of interest in what they serve to people. Food should be given love and attention and affection to your work and not just serve whatever and that's it. They must please the client and make sure that they fulfilled what they asked for.
