Was pleasantly surprised how good the food was considering the place looks dated inside and out. My only recommendation would be to close this restaurant for a few days and scrub it clean. I don’t think it was ever deep cleaned and it’s noticeably filthy.

This is as close to an authentic, Hong Kong or Taipei style restaurant that I’ve found in Sw Florida. The prices are reasonable, the have all the roasted meats(pork, crispy pork, duck and chicken) as well as Chinese staples. It isn’t a general Tso combo with an egg roll place. It’s real Chinese food with a fire breathing kitchen and flaming wok. We go regularly and it’s perfectly kitschy decor and fantastic food.

We always loved eating here. Authentic, delicious food. However, the last couple of times, we have received beef that was very chewy and full of grizzle and fat. Also, the men's room is gross and used as a storage closet. I just hope they aren't skimping on quality.

If you are Chinese and your favorite uncle comes to visit you from China, this is the restaurant you would take him to. I will not bore you with the details of every dish we had, but they were well prepared and well presented. As usual, we left well fed and happy.

Not great, unfortunately. First time coming here with my client because everyone raves about it. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice and a wonton soup. The wonton soup was good, but the rice had a burnt taste to it and the Kung Pao Chicken had a taste that I did not enjoy. I tried smothering it with hot chili oil but it did no justice for it. Sadly, I most likely won't be coming back here. The service was good, they were attentive and punctual in bringing our items and putting our leftovers in to-go boxes. The decor was a bit outdated.

We were looking for some good Chinese restaurant after church. Reviews of this restaurant sounds promising. We get into the restaurant, no one was there, usually if it's a good restaurant people are there early. Let's get to the food. We ordered hot and sour soup, not good, tasted corn starchy. Chow fun seafood came, it was mediocre at best, barely any sauce. Sizzling plate steak arrived with nice sizzling presentation, another disappointment, steak was cut like mini sliders, flavor was so so. Chicken curry was ok. The best dish was the calamari. It was crispy and flavorful. Overall not satisfied with our lunch. 2 stars for the calamari and service was ok. $90 for all including 20% tip no dinks. The best Chinese restaurant is usually in a hole in a wall area. I will continue searching for one. This is just my opinion coming from where Chinese food tasted amazing like 'crack' haha, j/k. I mean food that makes you smile because it's delicious. Enough said. To each their own. It's good to try once but not again.

"Chinatown: A Culinary Haven with Exceptional Service"Chinatown has become more than just a restaurant for my family; it's a culinary haven we frequent, often twice a week or more. It stands as one of our go-to spots, offering a delightful alternative to the mundane fast-food options. The warmth and friendliness of the staff are the heart of Chinatown. They greet us by name, remember our usual orders, and are always keen to recommend new dishes. Their consideration extends to cooking preferences, offering options with or without oil and MSG. The extensive vegan and vegetarian choices are a testament to their commitment to inclusivity.Their value-packed lunch specials, including soup and an egg roll, are not just reasonably priced but also delicious. As a family of six, we appreciate that we can enjoy a hearty meal here without breaking the bank, usually spending under $60 for lunch and around $75-85 for dinner.A significant highlight of Chinatown is the quick service. Despite the restaurant often bustling with activity, they manage to serve meals promptly, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. For anyone who loves authentic New York Chinese cuisine, Chinatown is a must-visit. Their salt and pepper pork, known for its perfect crispiness and flavor, is a standout dish. We came here because of the reviews and they definitely did not match up with the experience. Came in and waited for 15 minutes while there were open tables. Took another 20 minutes in order to receive just the water and chips. Our waitress spoke barely any English and was struggling to understand what we were even ordering. Food arrived in a timely manner but we were missing items and the food was cold. If we did not say anything then we would still get charged for them. Definitely don’t get your moneys worth in terms of portion sizes. Would recommend to take your time and money elsewhere.
