We had walked out of another restaurant last night due to a terrible experience. It was late so we drove by & saw Chop's. My wife ran in and was greeted by John Everding. What a class gentleman. My wife in a shorten version shared our recent debacle & John took care of us. Great table outside on a beautiful night. John stopped by a few times to check if everything was OK. Then we have Austin as the server. Another class individual who was patient, did not rush us and was very helpful. Then the food. Great steak ... nothing more to add. Great....Overall Chop's made a disaster into one of the best evenings. I even joked that Austin AKA Mariano Rivera came in and saved the evening. Would highly recommend Chop's & will return.

Came here on a whim for a late dinner. Glad we did! We tried the steak sampler which was 3 different wagyu steaks from different parts of the world. It was amazing and I highly recommend! The waiter was great, personable, and attentive. We had a great time and great meal.Parking: Park in back of building. Valet

Fruit flies and terrible service. I thought I was at long horn steak house. The manager had a terrible attitude. "Walmartville"

Recently came into this establishment with a group of friends celebrating a good friend’s birthday On April 13th Saturday At the Naples location for a reservation at 8:30 pm ( i would like and genuinely appreciate these details to be taken into consideration because whoever was a manager or in charge that night was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional a tall slender older man with glasses and short hair and passive aggressive tone) Me and the group all spend over 300+ combined on Food and drinks. we enjoyed our time the food was at best decent and extremely overpriced and the drinks were fine but again overpriced, service from the waiter left nothing to be desired he was very nice and personable, when came time to pay our group payed separately but all left tips to our individual knowledge regardless we all payed for our bills just fine, then came the end of the night when our group had exited the establishment waiting in front of the restaurant for the men in the group to grab the cars the manager previously mentioned earlier in this review felt it was appropriate to approach the group of young 20 year old women and scold us and pretty much shame us for not tipping well enough or as the manager himself said “not taking care of our sever” well enough , he proceeded to bring our age into the discussion and say “ i get your young and all but you pretty much did not take care of our server tonight”,,,,, all i would like to say to that is that this man needs to be put back through basic job training , despite our group not necessarily having to tip considering it is a courtesy from the customer to the workers and the food already being over priced through the roof my group payed for our food fully with zero issues AND the majority if not ALL of the people in the group tipped well. It is extremely unprofessional and made all the girls including the person whos birthday it was uncomfortable and upset, It should not be up to the customers to “ take care of the server” it is a very nice looking establishment and very overpriced , the job itself should be taking care of the servers ,tips are always a bonus. we did not appreciate the passive aggressive scolding and shaming of the tipping situation its extremely weird ,unprofessional and just completely unethical i will not be coming here again and will actually be informing others to be cautious of if they do choose to eat here because it is definitely not somewhere ill be able to feel comfortable again . 2/10

I had a reservation made for outdoor seating. We arrived on time and was told there was no availability outside. The hostess was snide and told us the wait for outside was an hour and a half even though our reservation was for outside. Last time we visited this restaurant our steaks came out raw when we asked for it cooked medium. We should have known not to go back. With so many restaurants on 5th this one should be avoided.

Me and a group went for my friends birthday dinner. Food was meh and overpriced. Our server was wonderful, very attentive. At the end once we had already exited the building, the manager came up to us and scolded our group for not tipping enough for a waiter. We each had separate tabs and the majority of us tipped well. It was very unprofessional and it made us all feel extremely uncomfortable. We also felt targeted as all the men in our group had left us to go get our cars, they came up to just us women. Very rude. Will not be coming back.

Very expensive steak house on 5th Avenue. The interior was lovely, but the tables are a bit too close together. We sat at a booth, and we didn't have much room to move. A large person would definitely be uncomfortable. The waiter was very personable and attentive. The sushi was awesome. We got the dynamite roll as a starter. Then, for dinner, I got the short rib, and it was delicious. It's a bit fatty but very tender and flavorful. My 3 family members all got the rib eye, and they were all disappointed. They ordered them rare, and they came overcooked. Plus, they all mentioned that the steaks lacked flavor, particularly considering the price. We had a $600 tab for 4 people.

My husband ordered a steak. And it was DRY!!! I never care to spend money for good food but this place didn’t deserve one penny. My fish with shrimps was bad as well. Shrimps were overcooked and had no flavor. Honestly one of the worst places I’ve been.

Our grouper was not fresh at all , manager came and told us fish is always fresh here like I didn’t know what a fresh fish tastes like, he removed it out of the bill but never offered something else he really didn’t care. My husband returned a baked potato three times because it was cold it never came back hot.Forget about this place if you are thinking about it, try another restaurant instead. Our server was amazing. We are not coming back.

Drinks, apps, entrees all presented beautifully. 3rd visit for steaks and again lacking in flavor and way too tough. I can recommend the short ribs, pork chop and onion rings as all three very good. Potatoes also bland every visit.

Ribeye was very good. Filet was good but not as ordered. Oysters from Maine were top notch. Overall the price didn't match the food and experience.

Food was excellent. Steaks cooked to perfection! Service started out great and then our waitress was MIA. Plates left on the table long after we finished eating. Took a long time to get the check.

We had a wonderful dining experience on Saturday night. Our server was Kira and she was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. We were seated in a booth by the kitchen so the noise level was at a minimum and the arrangement was intimate. We had no problem conversing with our group of 4. Outstanding service and food selection.

Everything was delicious. The wagyu steaks were incredible. Service was terrific. We had a booth covered in velvet back by the kitchen so the noise level was ok. Can't wait to return! I'll try to save room for dessert next time...but I think that will be very hard!
