The hostess and the servers are so polite and so eager to help. Drinks were well made. Husband‘s octopus appetizer was superb. Our mains were delicious, walleye, and salmon. Bread could use a little upgrading. Although the restaurant and bar was packed, we were able to sit at a high top and it worked out just fine.
Outstanding food and service. My wife had the prime rib special and said it was one of the best ever. I had the Branzino and it was delicious.
The food was prepared perfectly and was delicious. Our server attentive and always had a smile We'll definitely go back.
Always a lovely experience. Room can be a little load when the restaurant is full, but the food and service make up for it.
Cannot say enough about how good the food is but even better is the staff. They are fantastic. Will be a regular stop for us. Martha is excellent.
Very consistent in all aspects: food quality and presentation, service and good value pricing. Would recommend to anyone. I don't give overall 5 scores to anything but superb restaurants which there are not many of in Naples.
Do yourself a favor. After a day of activities and sightseeing, take yourself to Cibao, and order the shrimp and lobster PuntaCana. You'll thank me later ☺️
What an absolutely amazing meal from start to finish. Service was great food. It was delicious in the ambience very low-key and quiet. Our new favor go to place.
We ate outside and were surprised they had tables set up on the sidewalk outside. However our experience was excellent. Hardly ant traffic in parking lot made you forget your surroundings. The waitress was lovely. Everyone in our party enjoyed their selection. For dessert, I had the chocolate cake with Grand Marinie and found it decently delicious, so chocolaty! My husband had the chocolate mousse and we argued over which was best.
The service and food were great. It was a little too noisy to have a normal conversation. But I would definitely go back again.

Wonderful dinner of duck and trout. We enjoy dining at the bar and even with it being Christmas Eve the food and service was excellent. Thanks to all at Cibao for a wonderful dinner!
I dont know why we haven't dined here before. Many friends have recommended it. We finally went Xmass eve and it was wonderful. The food was very good especially the duck. Dont forget about this little gem. We loved it.
Visited Christmas Eve 2025 - Bar Area As locals who dine out regularly throughout Naples, I can confidently say this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. The service was awful from start to finish. The food quality was equally disappointing - nothing met even basic expectations. It was expensive, too. Shrimp cocktail-4 pieces for $21! When we ordered dessert hoping to salvage the evening, the ice cream arrived completely melted. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend CIBAO to anyone. Naples has too many excellent dining options to waste your time and money here.
We had a Christmas Eve dinner reservation that we had made well in advance, they showed us to a table for two that was pretty much in the lobby/reception area of the restaurant, so everyone coming in and exiting, walked by our table. They gave us an option to sit outside, which we decided to do, but it was at a little round top plastic table with no tablecloth and no ambience for Christmas Eve. We ordered our cocktails, which was Tanqueray and tonic with lime, and Bombay sapphire and tonic. The drinks were extremely weak. We have always complimented Cibao on their cocktails, they were always generous with the poor. This was very disappointing.. The food however, was absolutely exceptional... My husband ordered a Caesar salad, which he absolutely loved, and I ordered the beef carpaccio, which had an unusual twist of ingredients that was over the top and very, very good. My husband said his rack of lamb was done perfectly and very very flavorful, and I ordered the grilled Snapper entrée which was out of this world. I scooped up every last remaining bite from my plate with their red servings. Overall, the night turned out very well, even though it didn't start out that way. The table was rocky and needed to be stabilized, and the cocktails were very, we decided we'll bring some back up travel size alcohol with us to subsidize the cocktails, but overall dinner was excellent. We had a really remarkable waiter named Ricardo and I would highly recommend requesting him. There was nothing that he couldn't provide for us upon request. We have always loved Cibao and will continue to do so.
