A fantastic hotel. Great staff, super pool overlooking the harbour. A poolside bar to meet the locals. Walking distance to 3rd Street for fantastic food and drinks. Highly recommend Naples for road trips.

Very disappointed. For years we have always stayed in the same room but this time they said they lost all the information and did not even try to get us our favorite room. The room we had was not great. Lighting was bad. We had ghost ants, the fridge was small, no utensils or glasses, and the view was not good. They took the lounge chairs out of the pool area, and now they've started charging $25 to get in your room early even when it's ready. We've been coming here for years and never had to pay before. The mildew smell in the lobby is strong. Not sure we're going back after this year.

We stayed in a room overlooking the city dock in mid- June. Just a great location, short walk to third Street and fifth Avenue and about a 15 minute walk to the Naples pier. You will have to pardon their dust, since they are renovating the lobby and other areas after hurricane Ian’s damaging floods. Two adjoining restaurants and the coffee shop in the lobby are very convenient and quite good. My wife and I have been going to the Cove Inn over the last 15 to 20 years. Can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I were doing a roadtrip around Florida and wanted to stay in Naples for a couple of nights. This hotel was very reasonably priced for Naples and had good reviews. I can see why. The location was stunning the photo here is from our balcony. There was some renovation going on in the Lobby but we didn't spend anytime in there anyway. The room was spotless and had everything we needed (although the bathroom was pretty small). They had free bikes, which we used daily to look at all those fantastic houses. and cycle to the beach. The pool was lovely, as was the bar area overlooking the harbour (those boats wow!). They keep this place spotless, the staff are always cleaning the pool, trimming the garden. We treated ourselves to a lovely meal in the Boathouse restaurant next door. We are so glad we found this little gem. Well done Cove Inn, it was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip!

First let me say before I am too critical that this place does have some nice attributes. We have been coming to Naples for 10yrs & up until now we always stayed at The Naples Beach Hotel. Sadly it no longer exists & other options to be on the gulf were quite pricey or unavailable. I knew someone who stayed at The Cove Inn before & was happy plus it is the area we are familiar with so that's how we chose it. I did read the reviews prior to booking & many were quite recent. Turns out they were quite accurate as well. There are renovations going on & no it was never mentioned prior to our check in. There is also a building going up right next door. The lobby is one of the areas being done & it needs it. The is quite a strong mildew odor in there & they are replacing the flooring. I did all of our reservations online & they emailed several times confirming & "looking forward" to our stay so I feel there was ample opportunity to make us aware. During our stay the heater went out on the pool & the one and apparently only ice machine which is located in the stinky lobby quit working. Unfortunate but also inconvenient. As with many hotels housekeeping services are not daily which was ok but when we did have it they did not sweep the floors. Almost inevitable in FL to not track sand inside of your room & ours was there the entire stay. The location of this place is great with a restaurant on either end & a breakfast spot in the lobby that was really reasonable as well as tasty & popular with locals. Our room was small but clean & nicely decorated. The furnishings vary due to the rooms being owned by individuals so we were not happy with our balcony chairs. They were the standard white plastic kind that were uncomfortable. The bay view was nice & we enjoyed watching all the various vessels coming & going however being right by the Dock restaurant was less enjoyable. Parking near that end was challenging as well since despite being marked for hotel guests, it was being used by restaurant guests in the evenings. The Chickee Bar at the pool was nice even though the drinks they made weren't that good. You have to stop in the lobby for your pool towels & there is no clear place as to where you are supposed to put them after use. We just took ours back to the room & left them with our bath towels. Overall there certainly are less desirable places to stay but I doubt I choose this location again.

We spent four beautiful days in Cove Inn. Every thing - the hotel, the room, surroundings, the view from room's window, the service, everything was not just good but amazingly good. Especially I would like to say our huge thank you to Ms. Jasmin Chavez - front desk supervisor who literally took care of all our needs. Every question we asked was answered in timely matter. Her smile was one of those beautiful things we were experienced during our vacation.

Amazing location right on the dock. Big spacious rooms but the hotel has quite a bit of ongoing renovations due to Hurricane Ian damage last year. We were not told of the reservations at time of booking and they still charge full price. Stayed here for 3 nights and they don’t service the room without an additional charge. Ridiculous that you have to pay a service charge to have your room cleaned when you are paying hundreds of dollars a night to stay here. Would not recommend.

Great experience! Clean, beautifully decorated. Great pool area and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again if we ever need to go to Naples again! The lobby area was being refurbished but it didn't take away anything from the stay.

To begin with, I paid for the canal view and a deluxe room and from my window I only see other rooms. The hotel is undergoing renovations and no one has warned me of this and they keep the same price. I came here to give the day to my boyfriend for his birthday and we found an old, boring, dirty hotel full of dust and construction in the middle of the hall I will never return

I stayed in a third floor efficiency with my wife. Unit was just recently renovated. Best part is the location, on the water in old Naples. A short walk to downtown. It appears the landscaping and lobby were damaged by hurricane Ian and work was on going. I will certainly be back.

Our experience at the Cove Inn was excellent. Our third floor corner room was beautifully decorated. We so enjoyed our balcony each morning as we watched the harbor activities. Housekeeping was very good and the front desk especially Phil was helpful and gracious at all times. The internet was spotty at times but with the hurricane damage we understood. We had a great return visit to Naples.

Yes, you are paying for the location (in our case $500+) BUT... this IS Naples and the location is impressive. Our room overlooked the pool and was comfortable and spacious. The decor needed refreshing, and the bathroom was on the small side - the fittings generally did not match up to the price level. We were not disturbed by any works, and overall we enjoyed our stay. Plenty of onsite parking. The main Fifth Avenue shopping and restaurant area in the old town is an easy 10-15 minutes walk. We enjoyed breakfasts at the onsite cafe. Satisfied overall, but difficult to see the place as great value for money.

A totally appalling experience from beginning to end. I arrived at 10.45pm after a 13 hour journey. The guy on reception told me that the bar on site was already closed and there was no food on site. He said that I was better off at IHOP or McDonald’s. Not even a vending machine on site. On check in I was asked to sign a waiver agreement as the hotel was undergoing construction. (See photo). I had not been made aware of the construction when booking: The use of amenities is at your own risk. The use of the elevator is at your own risk. Make sure you have a cell phone on you. There will be construction noise between 8-5. Housekeeping only available on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I was asked to provide a credit card for the hotel to take a block on in case I ran up a bar bill. I said I would pay cash but he wasn't happy and told me that there would be a surcharge. As the bar was closed, I couldn't order a drink anyway! I was advised that there would be no water on Tuesday due to the construction. There was a €20 resort fee but there wasn’t even bottled water in the room. The guy on the front desk then went on to tell me that the regular lift was out of service, but I could use the old one at my own risk. I was on the third floor with three suitcases so I had no choice. He then watched me struggle to the lift, having to make two trips without even offering to help. I am a woman on my own so you would think he could have offered. The room was clean but old. Ancient, noisy aircon. I had to wear ear plugs. Shower was useless. I couldn't wash my hair. Breakfast was chargeable and not included in the rate. All for the bargain price of $499 plus tax and resort fee! Needless to say, I left at 7.30am the next morning and checked in at Hyatt Place. They invited me to their complimentary hot breakfast buffet even though I didn't even stay with them the night before.

Wonderful experience - from the nicely upated room with comfy bed to the pool and restaurants. Staff amazingly friendly - willing to go the extra mile to help. Small bathroom but kitchenette is nice.
