Sat outdoors mid day and it was comfortable. Food was good. Our party had seafood combo.basket with scallops and gator tail, another with oysters and scallops, the walleye special and the beef ribs. They were all good but the beef ribs were a little dry for our liking. Service was great and it was very clean.

We drove 3 hours to eat at Crackling Jacks from Port Saint Lucia we ordered chicken wings , the combo plate with chicken, ribs, and brisket , rice , beans , country fried chicken , with greens saw it on dinners drive ins and dives . I have to say it was the worst food I have ever ate I think anywhere! The brisket was just chunks of fat inedible the ribs were dry and tasteless the chicken wings were under done , bbq chicken was dry the rice tasted like it was a week old , the country fried steak you can eat but was not good collard greens tasted like wet grass but I will say I ate the beans can't believe Guy thought this was good even talked to locals after we ate there because we couldn't believe it and they ALL said that place is not good I don't know how they can have one positive review
So disappointed…would liked to have gotten to the food but could not get waited on . Did get a drink after extended wait…waitress did not return. Many people arrived after us to be waited on prior to us. Very poor service. Would not recommend unfortunately. Extremely disappointed. Our party of five left restaurant not nearly full of patrons empty and disappointed…………

Brisket, collard greens, and catfish left something to be desired. Edible but wouldn't specifically want to eat it again.
The fried chicken, mashed potatoes, ribs, corn muffins, and BBQ chicken were absolutely delicious. If we lived in the area we would come back specifically for the fried chicken.
Great service.

Great BBQ, catfish and truly southern veggies and nice variety on a salad bar...in a great casual atmosphere. Could use more servers and ours was pretty much daydreaming instead of helping guests.

Food ok except ran out of okra and coleslaw. Catfish seemed over cooked. Staff completely overwhelm. One young man appeared to be manning the door, buying tables and serving. Ask for a beer or apologized saying he was too young to serve alcohol. Finally took the order but have the waitress deliver it. She plopped down a can no glass no napkins. Nothing. Took off never saw her again. Never did see any waitress
The young man finally took our order but was obviously his first time didn't know the dishes. Ordered seafood platter, asked for oysters. Sorry no oysters. Altho they were on the menu. Tried hard but needs some seasoning. Get it restaurant needs seasoning.

Food is amazing. But sitting here at this moment the most impressive thing about the place is the work ethic of the kids

Been here many many times over the years of coming to Naples. Food is always pretty good, my only complaint is that many times the waitresses (especially whoever was outside on my most recent visit February 17th) just do not care about you at all. Thankfully Asia pulled double duty to help the people outside because whoever the girl was outside was completely not caring about service.
As for the food.. highly recommend the Grouper it is fantastic. I’m also a fan of the Gator Bites. The food is fantastic and pretty consistent. If they find a waitress who isn’t skipping tables outside and cares about the people this will absolutely jump back to a 5 star like it has been for years.. right now I’m pretty disappointed

Pretty decent atmosphere for the outside seating, the space heaters are great. The service was not good, waited about 10 mins at the front til I was acknowledged. Then when I sat outside my waitress came over once to take drink order and then once more to take food order and then never came back. I had to flag down a different waitress after about 20 mins of sitting with empty drinks and the food we didn’t even like… It looked great online and started out with high hopes but definitely fell beyond short of expectations. The frog legs were pretty good but besides that wasn’t impressed. Lack of service was what truly ruined it.

Restaurantji Recommends
We had the pulled Pig sandwich, grouper bites and fried mushrooms. Everything was hot and fresh. We went there because they were on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and we're not disappointed.

Amber was a lovely hostess and server. I ordered the fried chicken 🍗 and my husband ordered a burger 🍔. Somehow there was a mix up in the chicken (I ordered dark, they brought out white) no biggie, the cook wanted to fix my order, so I just took it in a Togo box.
Nice place. I would probably go back if I was in the area.

Not impressed at all. Got pulled pork, brisket and ribs. None of it had any smoke on it.. They have a smoker out Front of the restaurant with wood yet their food is not smoked. Food took forever to get waitress was more or less rude. Not to mention, the food was cold. Will not return here. To the owners of this establishment, you better get your act together or you won’t have a restaurant much longer even if Guy Fury was there.

Never had catfish that bad. The gator was like eating a ball of flavorless breaded, gummy bears I will say at least you get one star instead of no stars because the iced tea was good, but that’s it
