My wife was out of town on Monday 9/23 and I decided to try Dorona. I love a good steak and have tried many of the steak places on 5th Ave and the place on Goodlette in Naples. This was the BEST STEAK I have had in Naples - period. NY strip cooked and seasoned to perfection. The side of grilled asparagus was exceptional. I sat at the bar and service was great. Had food here and felt very sick afterwards. I might call the health department on them. Wasn’t the best service and you had to pay for bread as well! So ridiculous.

We dined here recently and had a phenomenal meal from their Sizzle menu. We both had the horseradish crusted tenderloin (perfectly cooked and seasoned) with the most delicious potatoes (crispy outsides tender/fluffy insides) and chocolate gelato sundae. I had the mussels with curry broth as a starter and the broth was extremely flavorful, I very much enjoyed the dish. My husband had the baby shrimp and it was also delicious (crispy cooked with crispy veggies and a dipping sauce). The pear old fashioned was scrumptious and satisfying. Thank you and we look forward to coming back soon.

We celebrated our anniversary on July 11th which was a Thursday night at Dorona. The blues music reminded us of the band that we had at our wedding. The food was spectacular and they treated us with a delicious dessert board. The staff went above and beyond. We cannot recommend this restaurant and its managers enough for any special occasion!

This was our first and last visit. Is one of their happy hour specials was a vodka martini and truffle fries. The martini was a smaller version so I asked how much a regular martini was. Our server, and Bartender, said a few dollars more. When the bill came it was $7 more. Whatever happened to honesty and customer service? Well, good luck Dorona. When we were there the place was empty. Gee, I wonder why?

I never been in a restaurant where you have to pay for bread with the prices that they have. Even in down town they give you bread. The service was ok, the girl try. The food portion very small, the flavor was good in the appetizer but the fish was no taste at all. The salad tasteless. The stake was good. But not really want I was hoping for. I will never go back or recommend it.

I can see why there are so many bad reviews about this place. This was the first time bringing my family to Naples and this place was recommended by our hotel. The service as mentioned many times is not great. The server felt like she was faking her smiles and seemed inconvenienced by our requests. The whole experience was not pleasant. The food was very mediocre and the wagyu steak they are charging for is by no means wagyu as advertised. We asked for a kids menu which they said they didn’t have one. The server advised there were 3 options for kids meals and when I received the bill they charged me for an adult pasta and not a kids pasta as we requested. $237 for 2 adult meals and 2 “kids meals” which were just as expensive as the adult meals is not reasonable. Do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else.

Very bad price-performance balance.The service wasn't good either. The food tasted mediocre, even if the fillet was at the right temperature.My husband ordered rib eye steak but got sirloin steak. After telling this to the waiter, the waiter started arguing with him that the meat is already right ??♀️We have a totalPaid almost $300 and were not satisfied.No recommendation from us ?
