There grain bread was exquisite. I had a sandwich made on it. Tried to buy a loaf to go but didn’t have enough to sell a whole loaf. They told me they would make a couple of extra loaves the next day. Showed up the next day threw one into the freezer for toast. Worked out perfectly. Thank you. Very good.
If you want authentic Polish food, this is your place. The place is small and a little hard to find, but it is worth the effort. The owners are nice.Good Polish Beer and nice homemade desserts.
Th European bakery is run the a husband and wife, who are very friendly, and serve up some great home made cooking. there is plenty of parking around. whether you go of the bakery of a Mel, this restaurant is a winner!!!
European bakery has reallyGood home made food and bakery goods.I loved the Pierogi and mushroom soup my wife theGoulash. They have limited parking in the back. Try parking on the side streets.A winner, a few block off of 5th.
Very good ? place. This is not a restaurant, this is a friend's house or more than that a family house. I will never forget this place. Wonderful food.
Delicious pastries made and served by a very sweet couple. They served us with smiles even though we showed up at closing time. We'll be back.
Excellent authentic handmade Polish dishes. Great decorations and antiques. After many cardboard tasteless Naples 5th Ave meals this is a real treat.
*Actual Polish Review*Go. The atmosphere is charmingly authentic, the food is homemade, the hospitality is sincere. The dishes were (please don’t tell anyone) better than what my parents make (!) and I wish I was local so I could enjoy eating here regularly. A perfect slice of Poland at an incredible value. Eat everything. And don’t spare yourself the sernik (cheesecake): it’s light as air and not intensely sweet…a cross between cheesecake and angel food. Memorable food made with skillfulness and love. TLDR: go.
If in Naples, go to this little gem of a place for some authentic home cooking! (If your home is Poland.). I had hunter's stew served with toasted bread. It was meaty. It was sweet because of the cabbage and kraut. It was peppery. It was so good!
Love this place! Super cute with an authentic European feel (it's run by an older European couple) and delicious food. Much of it is central/eastern European and my wife is Ukrainian so we know good eastern European food, so believe us when we say the food here was excellent! The Mystery Cake in particularly was amazing! Definitely try it!

Best dinner I have had in so long in Naples!!! I felt at home, the owners are amazing and welcoming, the food is authentic and delicious. If you would like a home cooked European meal in a home setting and authentic European style, I encourage everyone to visit and try a home cooked meal from European bakery. It is reservations only for dinner as during the day this is a bakery and cafe. They take check or cash only so please remember this when dining! Tonight was orthodox Christmas and the owners had the entire place filled with warmth and love tonight celebrating this special day. Call and try out their menu, you won’t be sorry! A true true treasure in Naples!
Beginning with the good, the atmosphere is quite cute. It feels like you’re in an old movie, it’s charming. My husband and I ordered coffees, they were very very bland. I could not really tell what sweets they had because they were not that visible through the glass they were kept in. We were tempted to try another item but based off of the bland coffee, we chose not to. I would not call this a ‘European bakery’, it’s more of a just a polish restaurant. Also, cash only!
If you like an authentic European food such as Borsch , handmade cutlets or even real crepes this is the only place to go in Naples. Very cute family running cafe where everyone is always very welcomed !
The reviews for this restaurant are correct, we had a lovely visit and excellent meal. We had the place all to ourselves on a Tuesday evening...we were a little nervous about trying it at first but were quickly charmed by the hosts and cook. The atmosphere takes you to a different place and time, and the food was tops in every respect. The host was helpful in describing the dishes, food was served promptly and was was awesome in every respect. We had the kotlets and pierogies between the two of us. The house salad deserves mention, being a very delicious and interesting. The dressing was especially good, don't skip it. The seating, music and lighting made for an old-world experience....maybe not for everyone but we really enjoyed it. One of the best parts of the dinner was having the lovely cook come out from the kitchen and check on our meal. She was delightful and had genuine interest in how we enjoyed our food. You won't get this most places. We need to return and sample the desserts, we were too full after the main course. A note to bring cash as they don't take cards. Not a biggie, ATM is around the corner, so is convenient parking. Excellent!
We love this little place. Great homemade Polish food served by a lovely couple.
