Food is good but their service needs to be improved. It’s slow when you dine in and they’ve gotten my take out order wrong 3 out of 3 last times I’ve come. Learned my lesson.

Had gone with some friends and family for the first time about a month ago and had a great time. Great food, SERVICE and atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much, we decided go again this past weekend…the service this time was like night and day. Our lead server, Mindy, was not friendly at all. You could clearly tell she didn’t want to be there. She took our order and once we got our food she never came back to check on us. The place was pretty empty so we knew she wasn’t busy. We had to get her attention to ask for some ketchup and she never returned with any. We waited some time before I decided to get the Manager to bring us ketchup. Once we were done we sat awhile with no sign of our server. We had to eventually ask the manager for a to-go box. And ultimately, asked the manager to bring us the bill. Mindy never checked in on us and made us feel like we were a bother and inconvenience to her. The service is a huge part of what brings people back …we were extremely disappointed.

We visited Food & Thought 2 based on glowing reviews and recommendations from friends, as well as our positive experiences as frequent customers of Seed to Table. Unfortunately, our visit did not meet our expectations.
Our waitress’s behavior was disappointing. She forgot our order entirely (we had to remind her after waiting over 40 minutes) and served us the wrong bottle of wine without checking if we were okay with the change. When one of my friends tried to address this mistake, she dismissively responded with “Yo no comprende,” even though we had been speaking to her in English. Since we had been conversing in Spanish among ourselves, this response felt not only unprofessional but also racially insensitive.
Additionally, one of my friends noted that the server was unnecessarily rude to the children at our table when they asked for drinks. This lack of courtesy made the experience even more unpleasant.
Every employee represents the face of a business, and no matter how challenging their day may be, basic respect and professionalism are non-negotiable. While I understand that anyone can have a bad day, being rude to children and dismissive toward customers is unacceptable.
I hope this was an isolated incident, as the restaurant’s reputation suggests a much higher standard of service. However, this experience made it difficult for us to enjoy what should have been a pleasant evening.

I was not going to give a review, but after reading reviews with similar experiences, I decided to leave one. This was my first & last time eating here! My neighbors invited me for dinner. Our server whose name begins with an “S” and has 3 letters could not be any less engaging. We barely saw him. There were 4 of us. He took our order and after quite a long wait, our food was delivered. However, my meal was missing. I told my friends to not wait for mine, to begin eating. After 10 minutes or so the server came by and noticed I did not have my order. He then realized that he had never entered it. All he said was, they are making it right now … I never heard him say “I am sorry”… then walked away. Close to 15 minutes later the young server who had brought initially our order served mine. I had ordered the same dish as my friend. The only exception was that hers had chicken. That aside, I believe they served me the bottom of what was left cooked. In comparison to my friend’s, mine was a lot less & soupy! Whatever I got tasted ok. For the prices, service needs to be better! You don’t have to comp the meal, but you can make a bad experience better by offering coffee or dessert! Even if we had said no, that would be owning a mistake and making the moment right! It’s Customer Service!! There was none of this displayed tonight - Neither by S_ _, or by the manager who came by the table!

The food was very good. I had the chicken salad sandwhich which was everything a chicken salad sandwhich should be. The potato wedges on the other side was like eating a luke warm raw potato, I was very disappointed in them. I was also diappointed in the price, I feel $16 for a chicken salad sandwhich is prrtty steep.
