Possibly the best pasta I’ve had in Naples. The eggplant tower is wonderful.

Last night at Grappino was the kind of dinner that reminds you why you go out in the first place. 🍷✨
From the moment we sat down, Brian took care of us like a true pro — attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without lecturing, and perfectly paced. The man just gets hospitality.
🍝 The Food
Pappardelle Bolognese – Rich, slow-cooked depth, perfectly al dente pasta, generous with the parm. Comfort food elevated.
Creamy sausage pasta – Silky, savory, indulgent in the best way.
Pesto pappardelle – Bright, fresh, balanced with pine nuts and just the right hit of garlic.
Shrimp with capers & green beans – Clean, buttery, lemon-kissed. Simple and executed beautifully.
And yes… we stared down the dessert case like kids at Christmas. The tiramisu and chocolate mousse cakes looked dangerous. 😄
🍷 The Wine
A bottle of Chianti Classico (2023) paired perfectly — smooth, food-friendly, and exactly what you want with hearty Italian dishes.
🏛️ The Vibe
Warm, airy space. High ceilings, natural light, relaxed but polished energy. It feels upscale without being stuffy — Naples done right.
If you’re going, ask for Brian. Great service elevates great food, and he absolutely did. We’ll be back. 👏🍝🍷

We've been coming to Grappino since it opened, and we've watched it struggle through years of disappointing meals, inconsistent service, and revolving management. Eventually, we gave up. We took our business elsewhere and accepted that this place simply wasn't going to be our neighborhood spot anymore.
Then a friend who owns a local business nearby insisted we give it one more chance. He said something had genuinely changed. We were skeptical, but we trusted him, and we're so grateful we listened.
The difference is nothing short of remarkable. Tom, the new manager, has completely transformed Grappino from the ground up. The service is exceptional. Attentive without being hovering, genuine without feeling forced. His staff has elevated their game dramatically, moving with purpose and courtesy that clearly flows from his leadership. Tom himself seems to be everywhere at once, making sure every guest feels valued, whether you're seated inside or on the patio. The restaurant is packed every time we visit, and now we finally understand why.
But what really matters is how it feels to be there again. The energy is right. The care is palpable. Our favorite neighborhood spot is back.
If you've tried Grappino in the past and had a mediocre experience like we did, don't count it out. This place is stellar now. That's entirely because of Tom. Highly recommend.

Chef Jason is one of the best people I know and its a pleasure every time I get to eat here! I would recommend the margarita pizza to anyone coming here.

Service was terrible. Food came out helter skelter so we didn't all eat together. My Manhattan was $19.00 and a small pour. Some food was hot, some cold. One party never received their order. Terrible. They won't see us again!!!

Tonight I came to Grappino with my friends for dinner, and it was our first time here. There was also a buy-one-get-one pizza special, which made the night even better.
We ordered two different pasta dishes and pizza, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared.
I especially want to thank our server, Hassan. He was incredibly positive, friendly, and truly knows how to make guests feel welcome. His energy and professionalism made our experience even more enjoyable.
Grappino is truly a wonderful place. The atmosphere and service were outstanding. I will definitely be coming back — and next time, I’ll be asking for Hassan again!

We had a wonderful meal the other night. Pasta choices were amazing. The ladies had the Branzino and loved it. Nice pour cocktails and a fine wine list.
The down side was the very inattentive wait staff. Very difficult to get their attention. Although when dinner was served it all came out together.
We will have to try it again.

Last night, I hosted the annual holiday party for 27 tennis friends. From the very first call made to the general manager, Tom Quinlan to the moment we walked in, everything was perfect! What especially impressed me was that the chef, Jason was literally waiting at the door to welcome me. Throughout the evening, both Tom and Jason stopped-by several times to make sure the evening was perfect and that everyone was pleased. We had two dedicated servers, Clarey and Paulina, who were attentive and professional. Everything ran so smoothly that we've already made plans to have our annual party at Grappino next year. Oh....and the food! I had the orrichetti primavera. To. Die. For. Thank you Tom, Jason, Clarey and Paulina, as well as the rest of the team who helped make the evening as special as it was! Marla

A bit of a diamond in the rough. Extensive menu. A bit tight but interesting seating. A nice bakery selection - lots of sweets.

Grano has always been one of our favorite restaurants last night. We walked in and I thought oh well it's really crowded big party in the main dining room. I just assumed it might be a tough night. I gotta tell you it was the best dinner I've had in Naples all season so far. Our waitress hustled around all night and our food came out piping hot if you've never eaten there treat yourself!

I was kicked out because I told the staff there was a live cockroach by my table.

Server was very good. Food was ok. Atmosphere was not good due to where we were seated. Our table was at the crossroads of two busy aisles, right in front of a service station used frequently by staff, an exterior door and a bakery that is open all night. There are lots of good Italian restaurants in Naples to choose from and most of them do not have the seating configuration of Grappino’s. For us, that might be the deciding factor on where we choose to eat Italian.
