The folks there are very friendly and serve simple but delicious and well priced food. The chicken tacos with onions, cilantro and lime are amazing!

This was our favorite Mexican food restaurant until the last two visits. New management? Chips/salsa for four skimpy in small silver bowl 2/3 full, salsa bowls 1/2 full. Enchiladas meh - contained 1/2 the meat as in prior visits. They have succumbed to the dining falicy that if one puts enough cheese on the food in compensates for lack of filling/flavor - but last night there was no flavor, just loads of flavorless cheese. On the positive side, they still have the best guacamole, freshly made to order, in town. Very friendly, courteous and accurate waitstaff - they did a great job. Considering the availability of five mexican restaurants in a one mile strip of I-41, there are other choices now. We’ll try again but further down in our “rotation.”

Good food and reasonable prices. Friendly staff and service was good. Located in a small stop mall along. Tamiami Trail it would be easy to miss this restaurant. Make it a point to find it and stop in.

Service is so bad, one woman taking orders for a full restaurant and very slow at greeting tables. Food is nothing great, especially after waiting over an hour to get it.

The wait for someone to take our order, bring us food and just to pay the bill was terrible!!! The food was bland and my tamales were a little dry. I would try somewhere else before returning.

There were 6 of us visiting this restaurant for the first time based on other reviews. Very authentic Mexican restaurant. The chicken quesadilla was so good! We also ordered tacos and steak/chicken fajitas which came with rice and beans. Beans were very good. The margarita was incredible!!! Would come here again the next time we visit. Might be a good idea to get a reservation ahead of time. There’s not a lot of tables but we got lucky and got seated right away.

During our 8 years as full-time residents, we've tried many Mexican restaurants in Naples, but Amigos continues to be our absolute favorite. They definitely have the best chips ever and the guacamole is great. Prices remain reasonable, and everything from the chimichanga to the enchiladas to the fajitas is absolutely tasty.

Real Mexican food perfectly pre paired with out standing service. Chicken Fajitas perfectly prepared and Chimichanga may be the best ever. We believe Amigo’s is the best Mexican food in SW Florida.

Fantastic food and was very fresh. I had tamales that melted in my mouth. I got a lunch special and the beans and rice that came with it were some of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants over my lifetime. The restaurant is very quaint inside with some beautiful murals. It’s a must visit, if you like Mexican food. Our server didn’t rush us at all so we didn’t feel hurried. My husband and I will return soon! What a great find!!
I love the tacos, enchiladas, and tortas. Who am I kidding I love all of it. Try the salsa and chips! They are delicious! The fresh fruit aguas are so tasty and refreshing. Prices are reasonable too!

Look… I was born in Mexico and have eaten a lot of wonderful Mexican food and have been to many Mexican Restaurants… And of course some memorable home cooked Mexican meals… Amigo’s Cafe is by far one of the most charming Mexican Restaurants ever… Most important is the fabulous food… Every time we go the food is consistently superb… Service… Friendly and accommodating … Amico’s Cafe is a true local, and family owned, place in East Naples… I can’t imagine anyone giving this little Mexican place anything less than 5 stars… The only way would be if you were looking for more than beer, wine, and Sangria… A local Guy…

What a surprise, I’ve passed this restaurant 100x. It’s located in a little strip mall and the restaurant from outside looks very small, but it’s not. Food was delicious, best homemade chips I’ve had in a long time, the food was delicious and authentic. I will definitely be going back.
