Well, 1st time at this place and not a good experience. We were handed the menus and there crawled a roach !!! On the table. Regret not leaving, but it was embarrassing for the waitress and didn’t want to make a scene so we stayed. Ordered our food. Lord and behold as we’re eating, long black hair found on my husband’s plate by his pancakes!!!
We mentioned it and received a $10 discount.
Had it been a state inspection they would have been closed!!!
They need to fumigate and wear hairnets.

Outstanding breakfast, restaurant is spotless. I was immediately greeted by a friendly, smiling waitress name, Rosie. The portions are very generous and the sausage patties are cooked perfectly and larger than your normal breakfast place. The toast is absolutely delicious two big thick slices, which are homemade at the restaurant. Highly recommend the restaurant best breakfast I’ve had in a long time.

Presently sitting at the Hoots near Lely, finishing my coffee and writing this review. I was seated immediately, and my order taken quickly by a pleasant waitress. Unfortunately it's a small space and I had to listen to the extremely loud lady seated at the next table as my "atmosphere". The food (a Bacon Skillet) arrived quickly. From there it was all downhill. The skillet had a coagulated clump on cheese on top that I picked off. I don't mind a little cheese but I swear there was a quarter of a cup on top! The two eggs on top... I could barely find the yolk. The yolk was very small. The potatoes sat in a bowl of grease, as if they fried the bacon and poured it and the grease it produced right on top of the potatoes. I could not eat it. The waitress asked how my breakfast was, I said " Meh." and she questioned no further. I asked for a water and a warm up on my coffee along with my check, for $17.50 — wasted money - and she asked if she could take my barely eaten, deconstructed bacon skillet. I said yes, and again she did not question my satisfaction with the meal. Trying now to determine the tip I wish to leave. She was prompt, pleasant, and quick to serve, but missed an opportunity to make me a satisfied customer. Unfortunately, I now remember why I have only been here a handful of times in the 7 years I've lived here, once in Marco too, and it was the same. I cannot recommend the quality of the food. Better off to cook at home.
