I'll admit that I can be a picky eater, which can sometimes make tasting menus intimidating. Chef Andy, however, went above and beyond to ensure that every course suited my preferences while still allowing me to fully experience his vision. That level of attentiveness and care is rare and deeply appreciated. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully balanced, and a pleasure to experience. Beyond the food, Shekeba ensured the atmosphere was welcoming, warm, and genuinely friendly, making the entire evening feel relaxed yet refined. It never felt pretentious, just thoughtful hospitality paired with exceptional cuisine. By the end of the evening, I was completely won over. Dining at Hyde N Chic was nothing short of extraordinary! I have had the privilege of dining at some of the world’s most celebrated fine-dining establishments, including The French Laundry and Per Se, and I can say without hesitation that this restaurant is a true hidden treasure of Naples.
Chef Andy is simply outstanding! His precision, creativity, and respect for ingredients are evident in every course. From the moment the first dish arrived, it was clear that this was a thoughtfully curated and impeccably executed dining experience.
We began with an oyster topped with pineapple-mango yuzu which was bright, balanced, and elegant followed by a luxurious lobster bisque that was rich yet refined. The duck confit with foie gras was indulgent and beautifully composed, while the Dover sole with leeks showcased flawless technique. The short rib with demi-glace was deeply flavorful, tender, and perfectly finished. Every plate felt intentional and expertly crafted.
Dessert was the perfect ending: an elderflower sorbet crowned with meringue which was light, aromatic, and refreshing. Each course was elevated further by perfectly paired wines, enhancing rather than overpowering the dishes.
Hyde N Chic delivers a world-class dining experience in an intimate, unpretentious setting. Chef Andy has created something truly special, and this restaurant deserves to be recognized among the finest! Incredible and unpretentious find in Naples, Fla. away from the downtown crowds. Truly a delictable and beautifully presented 3-course experience. The warm flaky crusted wild mushroom strudel with e'poisse cheese melted in your mouth. My second entree was was a pan seared branzino. Again, perfectly cooked and portioned appropriately. The flavors, colors and textures were lovely. Finishing off with short ribs with a delicious veal demi glace - wish I could replicate! Only potential opportunity which I look forward to next visit is a small sweet ending to our meal vs an amuse bouche. Chef Andy and his beautiful wife introduced themselves upon arrival and shared in warm conversation during and following our meal. Chef Andy exhibits a passion and exuberance for his craft. Our guests are planning on returning with us so prepare for a larger table next time!
