Joey D's Italian Restaurant

We were there on our vacations last Friday. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The bread and the salads we got before we had our menus was also very good. We will definitely come back.

The pizza here is decent if you're into the NJ style — it's not amazing, but it passes. The sauce is pretty bland and lacks any real depth of flavor. Nothing spectacular, just average at best.

The environment is another story. There are no fans, and the air-conditioning is practically nonexistent, making the whole place feel sticky and uncomfortable, especially in warmer months.

A warning about the food: Avoid anything beyond the pizza. Most of the dishes are disappointing — the pasta has a strange taste, which might be due to dirty cooking water. A lot of the food seems to come straight from the freezer, and it shows. As for dessert, it's clearly just generic stuff from Restaurant Depot.

Overall, if you're craving NJ-style pizza and aren't picky, it might do the job. But for anything else? Skip it.

What a great find! Tucked away in a strip mall at Airport Pulling and Immokele is a rare gem for Naples. Delicious food at a reasonable price with full bar service and a lovely atmosphere. Speaking of service our waitress (wish I had gotten her name) was delightful and helpful. Added to our list of favorites!

The Buffalo Chicken Dip is not a “dip” at all. It’s shredded chicken)like pulled pork), w some slices of Italian bread(surprise) and a plastic terrine of blue cheese(I guess). Goofy!
