Good food, friendly service, limited choices for non Peruvian food.

About a week ago, I asked for suggestions on Latinamerican cuisine — Espiritu Naples ?? is a 10/10 ?I’d love to elaborate on each dish, but honestly, you have to try it yourself. My bestie and I shared a nice ceviche, their fried fish entree and well, I wanted some nice veggie fried rice and of course, gotta have sweet plantains! We were absolutely delighted with every singe bite. I cannot wait to go back.⚠️ small restaurant so it’s pretty cozy, but each table well dressed and with a nice fresh flower. At the time no need for reservation, and they do have a few tables outdoors (in case anyone wonders).⚠️ We did not have the early dining menu — not that I ever do at any place I go to ? but they have a nice option available ?Didn’t really get to have dessert, but definitely got some leftover rice & sweet plantains.Until next time ✌️-V

I truly believe they tried to please the customers. The service person was pleasant and friendly. But you can’t expect much when we showed up 1 hour to closing. And I’m sure they were getting ready to close. The Cusqueña beers were very good, the chicken soup was rough, and the chaufa rice could have been better.Parking: It’s in a shopping strip mall.

We used to go to the old incarnation of Espiritu and wandered in not realizing the ownership changed. Although the space is the same the white table cloths give it a warm upscale feel. Two new servers were spectacular and always on it. The menu is new as is the chef. The food is a step up from the prior place. Ceviche is killer!

We had a delicious dinner at Espiritu earlier this month. Our waiter Brendan was fabulous; giving us his recommendations and suggestions. Each dish and wine that he suggested were amazing. Best Peruvian restaurant in Naples! We are going back tonight and bringing our adult daughters.

Man! What huge disappointment. La Cuisine (the previous restaurant in this location) was already bleak, but this one beat it. I am Peruvian and this food had no Peruvian flavors what so ever. Cheddar cheese for Huancaina sauce! Really? No yellow chilli flavor in any of the dishes. The ceviche fish was chewy and did not look made to order. All the meats were overcooked and tough. Sorry, won't be ordering from here again.

I really tried to love it...We were visiting from out of town and really had a taste for Peruvian food.Upon arrival to the restaurant we were asked to sit wherever we wanted and so we did, and we were handed our menus. We had been driving all day and so I asked where the restroom was and I could not open the door twice. By the third time I gently asked waitress to check if there was someone in there, and I was informed that it's just a jammed door and it happens often. We started by ordering chicha "purple corn juice", which was a bit over-sweetened but tolerable. For the appetizer, we ordered anticuchos "cow heart skewers". The meat and potatoes were over cooked, but the sauce made up in flavor. For entrees we ordered the snapper & seco de Cordero. At which we asked if the seco came with the onion salad known as sarza, we were told no. So we proceeded to order it as a side, but it was clear waitress was not familiar with menu as she kept going back and forth to ask questions.Once we received our entrees it went completely left. The snapper lacked flavor in which the salad could not make up. The Seco de Cordero already came with the sarza (so we paid twice for it). The meat of the seco was probably the worst part as It was not fresh! It was salty, hard textured, hard to chew and the flavor was not one of Peruvian cuisine. My mom ate the rice out of hunger, left everything else untouched. As the waitress removed the dishes, she literally cleaned the plates in front of me! Where is the etiquette? To shuffle bones from one plate to another in such a close proximity to your customer while chewing gum is not appropriate. We informed the chef of the dissatisfaction with dish and he politely agreed to remove dish from bill. However, the waitress had already charged us and then we were told they did not know how to work the register machine and so we could not be refunded. The price of the meals did not match the quality of service or food quality. When you pay $118 you expect to be full and satisfied, we were neither.

Second time here. They have new management. I would recommend to clean the roof ceiling tiles, some are full on black. People notice these things, specially for newly opened businesses or those opening under new management. So the food overall 3-4 stars. Waiter only had 2 tables and forgot our side of fried plantains. Don’t think I’ll be back.

From a Peruvians perspective, the food they serve here is mediocre. Not authentic in anyway. I understand it’s supposedly fusion, but the Peruvian flavor profiles are not there at all. It was honestly pretty bland. I had the lomo saltado with tacu tacu. The lomo had no flavor besides soy sauce. The tacu tacu the(fried rice/beans) along with salsa criolla (onion salad) was its only saving grace. Although it’s very hard to mess that up. I had to ask for some ají (hot sauce) just to be able to eat it. My husband got the Kam Lu Wonton (which they spell incorrectly on their menu by the way) and it was literally just a pool of sweet and sour sauce with some veggies and meat mixed into it. The waiter even forgot the rice it is accompanied by until we asked for it. Their own picture online is what we were expecting it to be not what we got and it’s unfortunate I didn’t take a picture of the it to show. You could’ve gotten Chinese take out and it would’ve been better than that. Their “homemade chicha morada” is obviously the premade powder packet you can get in store. Equivalent to an American kool-aid version. And if it was truly homemade, that’s even worse considering the lack of tart sweet deep flavors a true chicha morada has. Wouldn’t waste my money coming back here again. This place has had so many owners over the years and each time it fails miserably to portray the cuisine of Peruvian food. Better luck to the next owners.
