Melas’s Cafe is a little hidden gem of a restaurant. It’s family run with friendly wait staff, and the best food, with plenty of options for both breakfast and lunch . Rumor has it they’re going to begin serving dinner and that would just be an added bonus.
Enough already. In Melas absence, service and lack of consideration has gone way down. I suppose they like throwing food away. When the staff does not pay attention to specific order request. Or just don’t care. Such as no onion in an omelet. The food is delivered loaded with onion. Sent the order back, don’t need anything else. Been mostly a regular customer, suppose will rethink that decision.
Had a really nice time at this place. The food was excellent and the service was good. They could use a couple more servers as coffee service was almost non-existent
Other than that the breakfast pizza with out of this world.
