My chef son goes here for lunch on his days off! Love their pistachio latte and fresh made from scratch pastas. Who am I kidding? I love everything!
What pleasure it is to discover for ourselves this family owned market and eatery. Don’t let the name fool you; it is more than a market! Upon arrival Valerio explained that what we were ordering was going to be done in the authentic style. Say no more, this is what we want! So carbonara made with simple ingredients such as Parmesan, egg, and fresh guanciale and his added touch of chopped pistachios. I had a focaccia made with mortadella, straciatella, and pistachio cream. Sounds simple, but the marrying of flavors transported us to Sicily. My husband had his meal with the a blonde Birra Maistra he raved about, I had a glass of their house red, which was a lovely Cabernet. When asked if I wanted another glass, Luca came and gave me a fresh glass of a different wine he explained was between a Chainti and San Giovese. It was so good we had to purchase a bottle. Dessert was recommended to us: tiramisu and a delectable pistachio layered cake. And we had to grab a few items from their market, along with a pistachio latte. Is there a theme here? Pistachios served aplenty. But if you don’t like that there are other options. I’m sure we just skimmed the surface this visit. But we look forward to returning to try more. This place was an escape from the daily routine, and truly a little port to Italy. The family spoke Italian and we learned some phrases and enjoyed practicing and speaking to them. What a sweet place. If you don’t try them, you are truly missing out!

Absolutely incredible! The food was amazing! We ordered the Catania sandwich, Napoli sandwich and the carbonara, everything was mind blowing (not at an exaggeration at all). The server was super nice and attentive, we had a small issue and another server (I believe the owner) solved it super quickly and with great attitude! A bit pricey but 100% worth it!! It surely has become one of my favorite places here in Naples.

The service is excellent, and the place is very beautiful. The food is served in a gourmet style. However, I didn’t like the carbonara pasta — it was too hard, the sauce lacked flavor, and it was too greasy. I also wouldn’t recommend the natural orange juice; it’s very bitter and tastes only like peel.

Mercato Italiano in Naples, Florida, is a gem! Their pizza is hands-down the best in town—perfectly crafted with fresh ingredients and a crispy, flavorful crust. The ice cream is equally exceptional, creamy and bursting with flavor, making it a must-try dessert. The service is outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who make you feel right at home. The setting is charming and inviting, perfect for a casual meal. Highly recommend this spot for an unforgettable dining experience!

A True Hidden Gem in Naples, FL!
Mercato Italiano completely won me over. The service is absolutely top-notch—friendly, attentive, and it makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. I tried the Panini Napoli and one of their pizzas, and both were beyond delicious—bursting with authentic Italian flavor. The atmosphere is equally impressive: cozy, charming, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Can’t wait to go back!

I expected more walking in this shop. The coffee is complicated and not that great for what they charge. The pastries are ok, they look much better in the display. Service is good the decor and merchandise they sell is worth a look. Would I go back for coffee, no. But a bottle of wine and some cheeses sure.

“Freshly squeezed orange juice” taste like store bought so I was pretty disappointed on that. I also ordered a capatoast and the bread was almost burned, the meat was really good just wished the sandwich was better put together definitely try something different.
