Outstanding food and service. The food is as good as any Italian we've ever eaten.

This used to be one of our favorites, but this visit didn't live up to our previous experiences. Ordered Caprese salad, it was 3 slices of tomato and a hard ball of mozzarella with some basil Leaves.... $16- really disappointing. We seemed to have arrived between lunch and dinner shifts, waited over 30 minutes for our meals. Bread was delicious as always, and our meals were good- just no part of our experience was what we expected or wanted. Hoping it was just an off day....

A 7:30 reservation ended up being seated at 8:15. The hostess was intense, rude, condescending and overwhelmed. I don't think the woman ever smiled! Unbeknownst to her, I understood her Italian (and her comments) and she could have cared less if people walked away. With so many good Italian restaurants on 5th Avenue, it isn't worth the wait or frustration. It is a very authentic Italian restaurant with everyone speaking Italian and I felt right at home. However, I wish we could have had a better dining experience. As for the food, my husband ordered the carbonara, and it was intensely salty and inedible. The mushroom truffle pasta was excellent! I would consider a carry out at my next visit.

It was out first time here, by far one of the best Italian Restaurants in SWF. Owner even came and greeted us. Super energetic vibe at the place, felt like a home cooked meal.

Always fantastic.. we make a point of dining whenever in Naples. It's the real deal amongst so many other Italian restaurants in the area.

Delicious and authentic Italian. Staff/service great. Noise level a function of crowded space and outdoor dining which is to be expected. Will try indoors next time for comparison but not a deal breaker.
