I was hesitant to write this review, but after thinking about my experience at Narrative Coffee, I feel it’s necessary to save others their time and money. When I first walked in with my boyfriend, we instantly felt the unwelcoming atmosphere. None of the staff greeted us or told us where we could place our order, so we stood there like idiots for 5 minutes. I understand being busy, but simply saying welcome makes all the difference. When it came time to order, the woman who took my order barely said anything to me and treated me like I was doing her a favor, which was bizarre. I felt embarrassed for them because their hospitality was severely lacking. The coffee was mid, and honestly, I should’ve left and gone to Starbucks. The only good thing I can say is they allow dogs, and the aesthetic is cute, which is why I am giving them one star.

You are going to get a very creamy perfectly made latte from a local roaster... and a yummy almond croissant. Every time. Your latte is going to have a leafy heart design on top in the foam. Anything else you don't like, you can let it slide.

Not welcoming… no one said hello when I arrived at the counter. The attendant at the counter had no personality she didn’t smile, nothing. Same with the people making the coffee. They took a while to do so because they were all “reminiscing about old memories”. The coffee was mediocre at best. I got a hot latte which was warm and my husbands ice coffee was not very good either. Any of these one items I could overlook but not when all put together plus the price wasn’t cheap. We unfortunately won’t be back which is a shame because it’s a really cute place and I love to support local.

The shop has a great layout and location. The sad part is that there are needed improvements. Every time I visit, they have no drip coffee and offer an Americano, this has literally happened 3 times over an extended period of time. Today the only food choice was a cookie. Two times I have arrived at 7am when they open and, the employees arrive at the same time so nothing is ready for the public to be welcomed in. Bathrooms have no soap. Alot of potential with a number of minor improvements. Suggest finding somewhere else if you want a selection of offerings. It's unfortunate the employees have to continually say sorry for items out of their control.

Tried the teddy graham latte and it was a bit sweet for my liking. The latte had great flavors and was pretty strong!! The ambiance is great and was pretty busy on a Sunday morning.

Ambiance will capture you first, followed by their friendly service at the front with full knowledge of their products, options for the lactose intolerance such as myself, but the coffee was perfectly brewed and tasted divine. Would come back 10/10

I stopped by here this past Thursday with my family for our morning coffee. We happened to be in Naples for the day and so I checked on Yelp and was excited to see that there was a coffee roaster in town named Narrative and so we headed on over. The inside of this coffee shop looked high end with a white brick back wall with a sleek black coffee bar. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with an americano so that I could actually taste the work of the roasters while my wife went with a cold brew. Then after looking at their pastries I decided to order an almond croissant. After about 5 minutes both of my coffees and pastry were ready and I was on my way. My coffee here ended up tasting pretty good. You could tell it was fresh roasted and it had a nice profile to it. My wife enjoyed her cold brew as well and my daughter loved the croissant.The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I really enjoyed my freshly roasted coffee and everyone in my family was a fan of the croissant.
Stopped here to get coffee on my way to Whole Foods. It was very acidic + bitter. The other specialty coffee we got was also pretty terrible. Definitely not a fan at all.
