We had a disappointing experience on our fourth visit to this restaurant on October 10, 2025. We mostly came here for quick bites and drinks during the happy hour. The place, the food and the atmosphere are ok (except for the time when they turn off the light at 4:20, and it becomes depressing). However, the staff seems friendly. This time the bartender was so friendly that she remembered the wine I had there last time. She mentioned that they changed their Pinot Grigio, and offered to try the new two kinds. I chose one, but it never occurred to me to ask if it was offered at a happy hour price. I just assumed that it was. Big mistake! It turned out that it was one of their most expensive wines! The bill was $100 during the happy hour for the fried calamari (about $20), sliders (happy hour price $10), a few beers (happy hour price) and two glasses of wine (9 and 6 oz). We were shocked to see that the wine itself was $45! It’s not the Ritz or the 5th Ave. where you expect to pay these prices. We just stopped for a quick happy hour bites and drinks. I doubt that the bartender wants to pay $45 for two glasses of wine when she goes out. I left with mixed feelings about her and this place. Like everyone else in the world I don’t like when people hide behind “friendliness”, but they are really there to “get” you. It’s just sad. In addition, I don’t need your “apology” and “sorry to hear it”. It was my mistake by not checking the price and by thinking that I can relax at Oar and Iron’s bar.

I have been at this restaurant for lunch and dinner. My brother introduced me to the restaurant for by birthday. The scallops and salmon our amazing! The waiter Christian made sure my service was enjoyable. The jazz singer at lunch is talented. I feel relaxed here where you can easily have a conversation.

I had the Best Lobster dish i've had an a long time! It was a nice portion and had Pesto and buttered Gnochis. My friend got Steak tips and really liked them. Our Server Emily who we have had in the past was Awesome as always.

Party of 8 last night. Food was mediocre at best. Cast Iron Dip, pork was clumped up. Gnocchi and pasta was flavored poorly. We told them it was my daughter’s fourth birthday a couple times and she was wearing tiara that said she was 4. No one did anything.

Delicious food! We got a blackened grouper sandwich, chicken on the signature salad and the pear pizza. Everything was amazing including the service!

First of all, service was amazing, no complaints there. Drinks were also delicious. Now the food, overly priced and taste was horrible. Had the 16 oz Rib eye that was more like 12 oz. Had no taste what so ever. The Mango Bbq Ribs had more fat than meat. The Pork Chop was dry and no flavor. The Mahi overcooked and rice had no flavor. Had Middle Necks clams and were horrible. First time and last. No desserts and paid $360 for 4 people.
