Cameron Mitchell has always been the gold standard of high end dining, however tonight it fell extremely flat. I ordered Lamb Chops (medium rare) they came out charred and well done. They brought out a new order which was cooked fine but came after the rest of the table finished their meals and had to bring out new sides due to the time it took to cook lamb chops again (should been 5 minutes based on the desired temp). Then we asked for carrot cake. They brought one order and forgot mine, I was extremely irritated at this point.... when they brought it the carrot cake was dry even though it looked good. It was like they let it dry out all day. I told them for the prices charges this is ridiculous. I will not go back for a long time. There wine prices per glass have gotten over 26 a glass (RIDICULOUS) and then with these issues. I CAN COOK BETTER THAN THIS CAMERON... Get your house in order please, your gold standard is lacking in Naples.....no excuse

We had a terrific dinner at Ocean Prime last night. Despite being at capacity they seated us right on time. Gave the 2 of us a 4-top on covered outdoor terrace. It had ceiling fans and a nice view of Naples Players Theater Plaza.
Service was prompt & attentive, but never rushed. Marija offered great recommendations that worked well together.
For apps we had the Hamachi Crudo with pickled mango and seaweed salad, as well as the Spicy Tuna Roll, which had just enough kick. Both were as authentic as anything we’ve had in Japan.
For main course my wife enjoyed the halibut special. One thing I liked is that Marija quoted us the price wihout asking: right in in line with the other entrees and no worrying about 'sticker shock’ check surprises at end of the meal. I had the pork chop, where getting it tender challenges many chefs. This one delivered: Perfectly done and seasoned just right. It doesn’t come with vegetables so Marija suggested a half side of miso-chili broccoli, which was a great pairing. As we came in I noticed a lot of diners leaving with leftovers: portions were generous and we did same.
For dessert, diners at next table raved about their giant 10 layer carrot cake. Marija offered me an off-the-menu 5-layer option that hit the spot. My wife had the flourless dark chocolate torte and ended up taking half home with us- it was very generous and really delicious.
Bill was accurate and you pay at table on handheld terminals- no handing over your card and waiting. One of the more expensive restaurants we’ve eaten at here, but worth every dollar. It was a wonderful experience and we’ll be back.

Changed a reservation for my family. The gentleman on the phone was short with me and seemed not to care they were celebrating a very special occasion! I’m extremely disappointed because I do enjoy your restaurant very much . If I was changing it for myself because of his tone I would have just canceled. He truly was just not pleasant.

I would put the entire experience of Ocean Prime up there with the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. I’m always on the search for the next best meal and have eaten at tons of spots. I think there’s only two other restaurants I’ve been at where the service, ambiance and food has been this good. Place has like a modern Gatsby vibe. Super cool. Love the floor to ceiling open doors to the outside for the dining areas. The service was incredible. Everyone was super attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Chef Vladimir and his kitchen staff have a situation there where the high technical skill is melding with pure soul in their cooking. My meal was intense to say the least. The wine list and cocktails were awesome. The Hot & Dirty was so smooth with the oil infused vodka. Not too overpowering like some dirty’s can be. A home run. Wine list was excellent. Our table got the Hess Napa cab which was exquisite. Napas are my favorite tho. Got the lobster bisque which was criminally good. Some people can’t even handle something that decadent but I’m here for all of it. My entree was a combo of the African lobster tail, which was absolutely mind blowing, and petite filet with bearnaise, both perfectly cooked, and the bearnaise had such a great kick to it. Loved that. We got a bunch of sides but I think the bacon creamed spinach was my fav. Absolute flavor bomb. Loved the preparation of the asparagus and hollandaise with the peeled stalks. Had a great crunch to them. Dessert was a bit of a blur but all were amazing. The pistachio sorbet, peanut butter pie and butter cake. Places like this I always think of Bruce Lee’s quote from Enter the Dragon of “emotional content” because that’s what this place embodies. This is for the real ones out there who are looking for a truly next level experience. Best regards to chef Vladimir, his team and all the staff, I’m very thankful for being able to dine here. I also noticed it’s his 10th year as Executive chef since opening so cheers to 10 years! Can’t wait to come back.

The food and service were fantastic! Juan was a pleasant and attentive server. The Caesar salad and French onion soup are over the top good. Scallops and Seabass also are terrific.
