It is extremely rare for me to leave an unflattering review, but our experience demands it. We had dinner last evening for our anniversary, seated on the outdoor patio, the only guests at the time. The waiter was gruff, non-interactive and haughty. Case in point: we ordered the Caesar salad & he asked if we desired ground pepper. We said yes prompting him to execute one twist of the pepper grinder each and walking away! It seemed like we were an imposition as opposed to a valued customer. When not being attentive, he would do one of two things, sun himself or chitchat with fellow employees. Eventually, I mentioned to him that the patio was lovely, “Is it possible for us to come by for just a glass of wine some afternoon?” He blunted stated, “No, there is no happy hour, dinner starts at four.”, and walks away. Would you return to such an experience? We won’t.

The restaurant has a lovely patio on the water. The food was excellent, but expensive. Our waiter was unpleasant, abrupt and seemingly unconcerned with our experience. Quite frankly, we were treated like we were an inconvenience as opposed to valued guests, even though we were the only diners at the time! We'll never go back. Just warning you.

We shared three appetizers: Caesar salad, artichoke hearts and calamari. All were delicious. The artichoke hearts are only two but so tender and delicious. Calamari was crispy and good. Main dishes were papardelle bolognese made with beef and lamb. Very tasty and I'm not even a lamb lover. Lobster ravioli was wonderful in a creamy sauce. Wagyu shirt ribs were a bit small for the price but tasty either way the gnocchi. Salted caramel gelato was like no other we have tasted.

Excellent ambiance minus bugs outside. Apps - margarita pizza soggy from too much cheese hiding a nice crust, meatballs way overcooked, hard to even cut. Call Marsala average. Disappoint for such a beautiful place.

Service is so slow. And when I asked for the password for the Osteria-guest WiFi. Waiter said we don’t give out the password. This place is in a cave when it comes to cellular reception. Add in the mosquitoes attacking everyone - not a fun experience.

I didn't try any of the dishes, im sure they are good and the view was beautiful. I ordered a pizza, it was ok. Id give it 4.5 out of 10. It needs work. Its to doughy , not crunchy at all , soft chewy doughy pizza. Not good. Also it was 25 dollars for a 12in like a medium/ small. After tip 30 dollars lololol. The pizza needs major work , its not that great at alll. Im not trying to bash this place, but the pizza is not worth it at all

I've been dining at Osseteria Capri for years whenever I'm visiting my family on the island, and it's always been a reliable favorite. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing. A couple of the dishes didn't taste like the original recipes I've loved in the past, and I actually had to send one back. The pizza was also below average, which was surprising given my past experiences here. The noise level was overwhelming!!! there was a family behind us who was extremely loud, and we could barely hear our own conversation over the chaos. It definitely took away from the dining experience. The bright spot of the night was our server. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely tried to make everything better, and I really appreciated her effort. Overall, the service was great, but the food and atmosphere just weren't what they used to be. Hoping they can return to the quality I've always known from them. I don't think I'll be coming back unfortunately.

Food was good and view is beautiful outside. Service was very slow. When you ask for pepper and have to wait 10 minutes your food gets cold. And waiting for the bill was a while as well. They were not busy so service should have been better.

It was a perfect evening for outside dining. The food was fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive. The only thing missing was the strolling guitar player they have during the season.
