Papa John’s is the biggest crook in the pizza industry! First of all, you can’t just walk into a store and ask for their specials. You have to order online for that. Next, you have to download the app to order on line. Then you have to give them all of your personal information, regardless of whether you want takeout or delivery. They want all your personal information in case you have a complaint. Then when you order, select specials, order specials, they bait and switch you with items that are not part of a special, even though you are in the specials menu. Then, you don’t get to see what you are being charged until you are in the check out stage. Then when you want to call the help desk to complain, you have to call a store and when you get the automated message, you have to lie and say you are placing a new order to get a live person. Then when you get 1, and get the help number they try to explain that they are not falsely advertising and then they direct you to go back to the app and fill out the feedback form to be contacted 48 hours later, which does nothing for the hunger you felt while you were jumping hoops trying to get a pizza the same night! Come to think of it, I should’ve rated them a 1 for all the aggravation!

Last night we ordered a large meatball Pizza.About 9:15 pm.I picked it up.All 4 complained and hated the pizza ! The meatballs were unbearably spicy hot and overpowered the pizza. None of us could enjoy the pizza .we discarded the pizza .We wasted our money & tip. Upon leaving ,I stopped back into the store to voice my frustration with the pizza & the waste of money .I calmly explained the situation & was verbally attacked by both men .told me “ I don’t believe you ,anyone can lie to look for a refund”,”He couldn't refund me “ Both were nasty and unprofessionally laughing at me !I told them how do you talk and act to a customer? they continued being nasty !! They said “ they tasted the meatballs and never spicy “ “we were crazy and lying “They said “they were both managers “Then I asked who the owner was “ I can’t disclose who the owner is “ I said I was calling corporate they said “didn’t care cause it was Franchise” It got even nastier they told me to “leave the store “ “To look in mirror how trashy I was”David was one name It just was a horrendous, appalling, unprofessional, & nasty experience !For the pizza ,embarrassment & rude treatment ,I should be reimbursed accordingly plus more & disciplinary action should be taken against those 2 for the obnoxious experience To represent the Papa John’s brand.

I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. The service/atmosphere was average. The pizza (a large) had maybe a dozen pepperonis on it. Even my son mentioned that it was the crappiest looking pizza he'd ever seen. We each managed to each a slice, but the rest of it will probably be thrown away in the next couple of days. $23 down the drain. Do better, PJs!

I'd leave 0 stars if I could! Whoever does quality control and thought this pizza was acceptable should be fired! There's literally 1 acceptable slice with cheese. This cheese pizza has no cheese whatever it has is all burned Disgusting how hard is it to make a cheese pizza?!!! Horrible customer service I'm never ordering from here again!
Absolutely terrible customer service.. last straw is. I ordered dessert for the kids and told the operator I only had 100dollar bills. When the delivery driver got here. He took the dessert back because he didn't have change for 100.... Sad ! Last time I will use this company! Been ordering for 15 years only gets worse! Terrible service always!!!

I tried to use the app to place a carry out order and it would not allow me to finish my order. Therefore, I called the store and placed my order for pick up and when I asked if they could deliver it to a different address, she put me through to her manager. The manager hung up on me not once but twice. I called back to make sure my order had been placed and he hung up on me again. Horrible service not an apology. Nothing.I feel if I would’ve been a Spanish-speaking person I would’ve gotten a lot better treatment.Shame on you the customer is always right if you want to own a small business in this country.I expect an apology! That’s the least you can do!!

I placed an online order to be picked up the next day at 11:45 AM. The next day when I arrived at the store, the employee told me that my order was for 5:15 PM. I told him that I had even received an email confirmation for 11:45 AM. The employee offered to make my order right then but I told him that I could not wait for it and that is why I ordered it in advance. That was a total waste of my time and I will not be ordering from Papa Johns again.
