My family loves this place for a special treat.
Recommended dishes: Chicken Tikka Masala
The butter chicken sauce tasted like plain cream, with no tomato flavor or spice, and the chicken was very dry—overall, unpleasant to eat. Honestly and sad to say, it was the worst butter chicken I’ve had. The lamb korma was delicious, but it didn’t look anything like the picture; the sauce was chunky rather than smooth. The lamb was nicely cooked. The naan and rice were average. They did provide a lot of naan in a portion. The staff seemed lovely, and the place itself was cute when we picked it up. I really wanted to love it, but there are much better options nearby for the same price.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend, we had high expectations coming in after our favorite restaurant was closed for good.
We didn’t need a reservation, there was plenty of sitting.
We loved the comfortable booths, the service was excellent.
From the mixed appetizers to the tikka Masala, the Nan bread. Everything was superb.
The flavors would explode in your mind and they taylor the level of spiciness to each client. It’s a must try if you like Indian food.
The mango lassi was delicious!

We’ve been coming here since moving to Florida in 2013. The food is always good and authentic. They also make the best mango ice cream!

If you haven’t tried their biryani, you’re seriously missing out, it’s easily one of the best I’ve had in the U.S. The usual go-to items like tikka tandoori are solid and really well done, but what makes this place stand out is how good the rest of the menu is too. Some of the more traditional Bangladeshi dishes are absolutely phenomenal and taste incredibly close to what you'd find back home. It’s rare to get that level of authenticity here. The chef makes everything from scratch every day, and you can really taste the effort, if you’re even a little curious about real Bangladeshi or Indian food, this spot is absolutely worth the trip.

I love Passage to India. A friend recommended Passage as the best Indian food in SWFL, I have to say I agree. The Onion Bhaji baji with the sauces, Naan (Sweet, Garlic, Punir, and Paratha. All are amazing.), Chicken Korma, Rogan Josh, and Madras were all exceptionally delicious. The ambiance creates an intimate atmosphere. The team consistently goes above and beyond to provide attentive service throughout each meal.

Food is good but over priced and portions are small. I paid $60 for 2 main dishes and naan. There are many other Indian restaurants in the area. I’ll try those before I come back here.
