Horrible experience. I had an extremely disappointing experience in the drive-thru this morning . I understand fast food can get busy, but that’s no excuse for poor service and a bad attitude. From the moment I placed my order, the young girl sounded annoyed and impatient. I was rushed while ordering, and when I asked a simple question about a menu item, I was met with silence and then an irritated tone. After waiting a long time in line, I finally got to the window only to be handed the wrong order. Her attitude is very nasty. When I pointed out the mistake, the employee barely acknowledged it and acted as if I was being difficult for wanting what I actually paid for. There was no apology, no friendliness, and no sense of customer service.

Been a few years since I visited a Pollo Tropical restaurant and today was a decent experience.
They got rid of the dipping sauce bar and self serve drinks. Now you have to ask for sauce and drink refills.
The chicken was good, but not fresh off the grill which is much better. All in all not a bad meal for $9. The nice part for me was that the place was empty which meant no line and my choice of tables to sit at.

My coworker says this is fast food Cuban cuisine. Whatever it is, I liked it. I had the quarter chicken plate with white rice & black beans. The chicken was perfectly grilled, moist and tender.
The bad attitude towards customers in fast food stores has already become fashionable that this is disgusting especially in a store where even the manager is rude as a customer I have the right to demand what I pay for and it seems very absurd that everyone sees it as something normal it is a disgusting store I recommend that they do not come so that they avoid going through this ....... And corporations should take a good look at their workers and more if they are in charge because the truth is they will only get a bad reputation

Every single time I come here hoping it will be different and never is....Food is excellent but service no, always have somebody on drive thru that doesn't speak English...just tonight I asked if the 1/4 chicken could be a breast and he kept saying bread? bread? and I got tired of repeating it and tried once more slowly and he repeated fresh, yes its fresh....if your gonna be on drive thru gotta speak and understand english as well as spanish...oh and dont get that on some night I can get extra gravy and some nights no...guess its however they are feeling...getting to the point I'm giving up on this place but food is GOOD, service not so much...and tonight couldn't serve me chicken, CHICKEN what they do here!!!...no one speaks english...I ask front counter if I couod make it a breast and just acts like I didn't ask a question..oh you want rice and beans with that, no I asked you question...place is a JOKE!!
It was my first visit there. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for eating healthy food. We are grateful to all of the staff for assisting us in getting delicious food today!
