It’s Sunday in football season and the hoagie shop is closed ?? WTH are they thinking ? I can’t imagine that any of the Primos around Philly being closed at 5:30 on Sunday.

After visiting recently, I was very disappointed to have to wait 30 minutes for a sub with only one order ahead of mine in the shop. The wait was absolutely terrible even though the sub was tasty.

In my personal opinion, this is no longer the PrimoHoagies you remember. I don’t know when or in what way the ownership changed. But, whoever is in charge made a sharp cost cutting move. The meat appears to be the great value version from Walmart, and the cheese always seems to miss the mark. Dominoes has a more fresh hoagie and it’s literally microwaved. Save the trip, and go to Wawa. - By the way, look past the reps future comment below, the moment I asked for a new bag of chips since it was two weeks past its “Best used by date” they got visible anger. Never again. Will give them a two stars because of what they used to be.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Quick service, hoagies were made fast, and the quality is unbeatable. Stopped in today for an Abruzzi and a meatball, couldn't be happier. Hands down the best hoagies in SWFL, and it's not even close. The Abruzzi made me feel like I was in Philly. No, really, it's spot on. Great job guys.

In my quest to find the best sandwich spot in Naples, Primo quickly rose to the top of my list... and stayed there. While there are other great places in Naples, Primo has the edge for a few reasons.

It starts with their bread. They have it down to a science, with a crusty shell that gives way to a chewy, satisfying bite. The sandwich ingredients are always fresh, balanced, and cohesive—no matter which sandwich I try. Turkey Diablo? Easily the tastiest turkey sandwich I've had in years. Philly cheesesteak? Certainly the best in Naples (yes, even better than Cheesesteaks.com). Italian? Neck-and-neck with the best Italian delis in town.

If you're on the fence, just give it a shot. I have introduced at least six people to Primo, and every one of them has wanted to go back within a few weeks. And if you try it and don't like it... well, it's OK to be wrong sometimes ;-)

The management took way more orders than the store is able to handle, putting customers and employees in bad spot. Super Bowl Sunday and we ordered 4 days ago, said would be ready for 4pm, it’s almost 5pm and me and 15 other people still waiting for our orders.

Still my favorite hoagie place in SWFL. Great employees and consistent quality over the years. Thin slices of onion and the perfect amount of oil and vinegar. My go to is the Big T or Italian Diablo. Just the right amount of spice.

I lived in Philadelphia for the last 12 years and worked in Philadelphia for the last 25 years before moving to Naples. I’ve been to their original Philadelphia locations countless times. This location stays true to its roots and you’ll be hard pressed to find a better “Philly” hoagie around here. Try their chicken cutlet with sharp provolone and long hots which is a true Philly classic!
