Sam Snead's Tavern at Lely Resort

This is a very good place to go. The food is always good and not overly expensive. The help are so good and nice. Need reservations though.

We ate outside so noise level was very low. Food was good served by an excellent waitress. Eating outside we overlooked the golf course which was very agreeable. Good value. There were options on the menu that were fairly priced. We will eat here again.

Ben was our server who did an excellent job. All servers at sneads are wonderful. They are trained very well.

Always one of our favorites. Food is tasty. The sashimi tuna is the bomb. Aldo, our waiter, is the best! I mean that.

Outside experience was very pleasant and we all really enjoyed the food, service and surroundings.. Great place to eat.. thank you

Benjamin our server was great. There was a huge group of women there for a lunch event which made it very noisy.

Great food. Friendly service but sometimes very busy which slows service a bit but the staff keep you comfortable and supplied with beverages.

Terrible service. Our waiter, Sam—no relation—was much more interested in checking the notifications on his cell phone than he was in the quality of the dining experience. I have received bad service before but I do not know if I have ever been so insulted but a callous and indifferent waiter. The worst.

A favorite for casual countryclub dining.

We don’t play golf but we travel a lot. We love having lunches at the golf clubs. We have seen a lot of them… This restaurant was so below average… The food was like in dinner… onion soup was very salty. The salad shrimps were deep frozen before … but the servers did an excellent job! Also what was disappointed us is that they charge 3% fee if you pay by credit card. We understand it if it is a small Chiness restaurant or cleaners but the golf restaurant should not be doing this for sure. We would definitely don’t recommend it at all.

Our entrees were delicious, presented well & our Server was exceptional. The BBQ Ribs were famously well prepared, tender with no need for a knife! The Wedge Salad was crisp, Shrimp Cocktail was very fresh & the Chocolate Cake was out of this world delicious! It was totally a wonderful dining experience!

Loved this restaurant as had great service provided by Aldo from greeting us, to great cocktails from the bar, to flavorful entrees. Highly recommend this place for dinner and we will definitely be returning!

I loved this place so much. We had eaten in one in Myrtle Beach and hoped it would be as good. View of the golf course, friendly staff and other customers, lovely decor, and great prices. The first visit my husband had the filet and thought it was good but gristly for a filet mignon. The next visit he had the fish n chips with me. Loved it. Nothing better than good cod. Our 85 year old neighbor thought it was the best meal ever. She also had the fish n chips and ate it all! We like eating and chatting at the bar so we did that one night and dining room one time. Liked both.

Parking: I drove up to the door with my husband (bad back) and 85 year old neighbor. Easy walk to car for me.

My kids came in from out of town to visit for a week. When I asked them where they wanted to go out to eat, I recommended Marco Island, 5th Avenue, The Players Club, Mercado…

They all said we want to go to Sam Sneads in Lely.

There’s no traffic. It’s a relaxed setting. The location is great. The parking is Great. The food was great. The view overlooking the golf course and sunset was beautiful. The Happy hour is great. The price is right. The service was amazing as we had four people catering our table of seven. We never had to wait for a fresh drink, food, or our water glasses to be refilled. They didn’t miss a trick. Even the manager came over to the table to introduce himself and ask if everyone was happy. True professionals.

Sam Sneads is consistent, consistent, consistent.

I have a pretty good idea of how restaurants should perform since I’m Italian, a former chef and former restaurant owner.

Service and food were good but we were not comfortable at all seeing all the mold on the vents at sealing. I approached the manager and I was informed that they have cleaned several times and keeps coming back which means the problem am not be solve just by cleaning superficially. It is very dangerous
